libra and Aqua are good together, communication will be a huge issue, if both people can not be defensive and listen then it fairs to be a good match. If you can listen to his language of communication FIRST then you won't have many problems, I have helped a few girls crack the Aqua creatures language code of communication and it bids to be successful thus far...good luck!

hmmm, my libra girlfriend was just dating an aqua guy for the last 6 months...and she broke up with him/got back together like 6 times!!! she totally messed with his head, which i did not agree with at all...poor guy! anyway, she broke up with him last month for good, and he is just heartbroken. he still calls and texts her all of the time. but, they were sooooo different...
libra and aquarius - compatibility rank = 9 (10 is best)
Very nice. This is one of the more compatible signs for you. He may or may not stay around forever. Don't hold too tightly and you can keep it going for years. They both love beauty, society, and people; this helps to make this an ideal union. Possibility one of the few problems may be a misunderstanding because a Aquarius mate is unpredictable at times, and for no reason at all, may seek seclusion and refuse to communicate.
There will be instant attraction that escalates quickly to an undying attraction when these two meet and hook up for the first time. Libra will conclude that Aquarius is the only one for them and vice versa.

It is an ideal match honestly. One thing I have noticed is that Aquas are probably the least typical when it comes to their sign description. They can range anywhere from the mad scientist personality to the charming socialite. Take all of the positive characteristics of the Libra, add a little evolution and you have an Aqua. Both are open minded and liberal in their beliefs but Aqua is a little more stubborn and slower to change than Libra.
I think that Aqua adds a little conviction to Libra and Libra puts Aqua at ease. They both have a strong desire for a purpose driven life, both are very idealistic in how they view both themselves and the world around them however Aqua is a little more likely to give in to the practical and methodical where Libra feels no discomfort in taking things as they come until their calling finds them.
Both have a tendancy to both need space but also sincere validation and support from their partner. This is a couple that will stand by each other, side by side and viewing their relationship as a seperate entity. (You, me, and us) and will agree that each needs an equal amount of effort and attention.
Both signs are self assertive and strong in their views. I could see a problem where a disagreement leads to each person undermining the points of the other, feeling like they are helping by trying to convince the other of their side. This could be rough....both have a lot of tenacity when it comes to making a point. Aqua can be more judgemental and Libra will be quick to check that kind of behavior but must do so with a lot of tact.
I think Aquas are the best for Libra, at least for me (well together with lions), the problem here might be that Aquas tend to idealize love sometimes and Libras can sense it, what can open space for some manipulation, but usually just for good:-). I think she was trying to escape from that relation with aqua, but in that not direct selfish way we tend to, thats all.
"I think Aquas are the best for Libra, at least for me (well together with lions)"
well well I'm typical aqua with bestest buddy libran. sometimes when we're very very irritatingly indecisive here we go my favorite line...
"This is why we need leo"

Its one of the best matches in the zodiac. Libras are like our long lost counterparts when we happen to stumble upon each other.
this is true Lady_M but how come it's so hard to find libra out there? they're all in relationship & too busy to hang around with us. too bad

I am seeing an aqua...does anyone else feel like there is an immediate attraction between libra and aqua? I can't explain it, but it just seems to work...I was with an Aries for 4 yrs and it was terrible, up and down, always arguing...just too opposite and not enough in common...but with Aqua, everything just seems to fall into place...ofcourse I wish things would move faster and he wasn't so afraid of "relationships"...but somehow, he seems to balance me...keeps my emotions somewhat controlled...I usually want to jump in and don't think...being with an aqua almost forces me to have some self control..and being a libra that is hard sometimes! I really just wondered if any other libras felt a crazy attraction to these aquas...mine said something to me recently, that he didn't know what it was but that he felt like we just fit....lying in this guys arms...it really does feel like the perfect fit....maybe it's bec. we're both air signs...I almost can't explain it...I feel like no one but me understands this guy- I understand his needs without him having to explain them...and of course this site helps a lot! He has some growing to do and definitely needs to try to understand me a little better though, but I think he'll get there...libra and aqua! What a nice match!

I've dated several different signs, but Aqua has been my favorite. Never long term enough to my liking. It's not always Libra that treats Aqua poorly, sometimes it is the other way around! However, the compatibility is INCREDIBLE, sex-wise, mentally, everything. My dream man is an Aqua...sigh.

..this is good to know, being an aqua
Sakesumo "mine said something to me recently, that he didn't know what it was but that he felt like we just fit....lying in this guys arms...it really does feel like the perfect fit...."
When I am cuddling with my libra, and he is lying behind me, holding me just right, its so perfect its scary. When he kisses me, I get light headed, bc its so powerful, almost like he is sucking out my soul. .. nothing compares

Very True Sherob.
My ex libra was crap and still is. He is on the cusp of Scorp. Nothing like my bestfriend. Weird.
Ok this is my first libra experience. In 3 days we moved from saying hi to me giving her my mobile number. Let's see whether the myth comes true lol. I'm only confused as I casually told her to let me know if she wants to go out on a weekend and SHE asked for MY number. Am I supposed to be in the wait mode or me chasing her ? Hmm
PS Please tell me that Libras don't like Scoprios or at least Scoprio is not involved with Libras in any way. It seems I'm mainly attracting and attracted by Scorpios in my life and I try to avoid them like cat and water.

I feel they don't understand each other beyond friendship. But then you can try. They are actually so different - Aquas priding themselves on being different from humanity altogether.
There's one good thing, which is the unmistakeable positivity and emotional understanding between them. Libra and Aqua think with their emotions ( and both are clear not as here-there as gemini)
If the aqua person has alot of libra, or venus conjunct sun, then its a better match, because Libra craves understanding above all, and Aqua misses that crucial point in romance.

sorry, I meant that we have very strong feelings, but we enunciate our feelings cognitively. this is the point where aqua and libra meet. both aqua and libra dont do well with strong emotions - aqua being intrigued more, while libra shying away. I find the quintessential aquarian positivity very alluring; you know how to disperse negativity into something out of a detergent commercial - sparkling white!
but romance wise, I still think its a weird combination; this is a compliment to you aquas - aqua is anything but conventional. Unfortunately, Libra likes everyhting conventional; well the average libra anyway.
one combination - Isla fisher and er.. whatshisname? that funny guy Libra.. works well because he's such a weird specimen.
overall, more friendship than romance. I think deep down, every Aqua woman craves a big boss - Libra is not, and he will be bullied by your mental superiority and derided by your sarcasm. Your big boss is Taurus.. I've seen that combo and it works well..

Well, this I can agree with..I've experienced it personally. Libra, if they can build a think skin, will be fine. They can hold their own when push comes to shove too.
But Taurus?? WTF, no thanks.

"Libra, if they can build a think skin, will be fine. They can hold their own when push comes to shove too."
Libra builds a thick skin in every area except romance. We don't like to constantly battle and defend ourselves with the ones we would let down our guard with. If you want Libra to build a thick skin, they lose their appeal. Want a thick skin, go for Taurus, Scorpio and Leo...
Gemini is one excellent match because they love your lightning wit and explosive turbulences. Libra does not

"As for Taurus that is utterly mistaken and I dont crave a big boss I crave an equal someone I can talk to and they have something to say that will either equal me or just shut me up because they are so right. I have met Libra's who can do this they are strong and its sooo much funnnn but they are still flaky! I don't like flaky!"
Flakiness is part of their charm. Actually, they are not flaky, but only those who truly understand them can see that. The others call them flaky because its so convenient...
Libra and Aqua work out for a short term relationshp... for a long term one, its a no-no... and I'm speaking long term.. it's very very hard.

"But Taurus?? WTF, no thanks."
You'll like it when you know Taurus men are more stubborn than you. Even a lightning rumble shalt not break the boulder. The brick wall is what makes it challenging, and Aquas like a challenge.. the taurus challenge that takes a lifetime to solve. Libra isnt much of a challenge, really, once youve won him.. he becomes boring, and that's when the aqua-libra problems start. Taurus? he's never boring because you will have to think of thousand and one reasons for him to move his butt everyday, and it's a fun challenge. Funner than one who'd cling to you like a koala, hampering your movements. No?
*grin*

"I recall you complaining about an Aqua who did not work for you"
I have never dated an Aqua and never will.
I base my understanding on a close relationship I have with my Aquarius teacher who is very much older and wiser than me.
Good luck with finding a Libra who fits you, oh, and also good luck in finding one to be able to mold to your liking.
I think they'd be wanting to break free from your perception of what they should be, and resist your attempts to change them to fit your ideal mate.
But you can try ~ every relationship is a lesson, and maybe yours is for life, since you're drawn to them so much.

"Unfortunately one experience does not fit all situations!"
How unique will be your situation, then? Note that astrology is all about stereotypes, and with most of your charts fixed, you're going to insist on your way or no way, and that's hell to a libra, at least a sound one!

"So you have decided to extrapolate the relationship of teacher student to that and apply it to that
of a sexual/romantic relationship! Really that's just narrow minded! "
No, her relationship with libra men. By the way, you're one of the thickest aquas I have come across.. alot of em are more sensitive and intuitive than you. I mean most of your assumptions are wrong, and to use those in an argument is just infuriating. You're deffo not a quintissential Aquarian.. and you just argue about inconsequential things. I mean, if you're so compatible, why aren't you with one now? Talking is not the same as actually living it.

"You have no information on my chart other than my name so why are you assuming it is all fixed?"
cause you're more stubborn than 2 taurus guys put together!
hmmmm....ya know i have to point something out here...
the last posts by spica and aqualeo...now im just another aqua(female) looking from the outside here....
its amazing how libra and aqua are supposed to go together and get along and blah blah blah....
but we CANNOT communicate effectively with each other! why the heck is that? why are we so attracted yet so nitpicky with each other?
i was just married to a libra guy for almost 10 years....i just posted recently about it cuz i didn't see this thread...
but a lot of conversations ended up something like the last posts on here...always nitpicking...and man did he know how to push my buttons...
im not such an angry person, but he reeeeally brought it out in me.
any ways just an observation...
i must say i will never ever ever date/marry a libra ever ever again...too much complaining! i have friends that are libra and theyre okay in small doses...
sorry to any of you libras im sure some of you are awesome! and im sure you have a mutual feeling towards us aquas....

I got it right.. friends, never lovers.. at least not the female aqua/ male libra thingy.
To recap from that past thread, aquas want libras to be a certain way, and libra want aqua to be a certain way also. That is what I mean by "not understanding". In friendship, it's almost perfect, but romance-wise, its just total baloney, like two left feet.

I'm pretty sure you insulted your libra left and right before divorcing.. LOL!
No, i was actually the mature one in the situation. i was open and honest. perhaps he FELT insulted, but then again hes always felt that way. *shrugs*
i was as mature as i could possibly be and didn't let him push my buttons, which in retrospect im sure he hated more. he liked to get me riled up. and as of right now he's reeeeally being immature. He insults me via text and sends me pictures of his recent girlfriend as if i cared. not once have i been vulgar with him. only professional as it can be. its just messy but hes always been messy. i would love to remain friends with him but i know hes too prideful for that. i don't know if it has anything to do with his piscean ascendant or not. anyways....im sure there's other libras out there who aren't like this one was...but for now i'll stick with one of my own kind! an aqua male! now talk about understanding!
oh by the way....i sooooo WANTED to insult him badly. but i figured i would try to take the more adult approach to divorce... even though after he sold/got rid of all of my possessions behind my back...i want to throw things at him. but i know this won't solve anything. and by me taking the high road karma will balance in my favor Signed Up:

Oh, Pisces ASC, hahahha.. that makes him somewhat scorpionic.
"even though after he sold/got rid of all of my possessions behind my back.."
Omg, that is sneaky!
I think there is no point being professional with him; he's very personal. All your professionalism will go to waste, so to speak
You sound like you had no way of winning.. he had his cake and ate it too.
From my previous thread:
"well i used to tell my libra (ex) husband to never buy me flowers, cards, or chocolates. he probably thought that i was so unfeminine for this and unromantic...but i also told him instead of those things become more inventive! instead of chocolates how about blah blah or instead of flowers get me seeds and help me plant a garden....i don't know these are just examples..."
Thing is that Libra doesn't fashion after society; society fashions after Libra in the realm of relationships. So what you might call cliche is actually an area Venus rules. BUT, speaking of that, I agree that he should not have gotten you flowers if you weren't going to like them. exactly my sentiments...i always made it very clear what i wanted and didn't. sometimes HE was vague on that...
and speaking of ASC mine is taurus so an aqua/taurus/scorp with a libra/pisces/aries....OUCH!
thats why we were soooo explosive with each other...but let me just say...
even though we didn't always get along the sex was OUT OF THIS WORLD...we were instantly attracted to each other...
and quite honestly we shared a lot of laughter together....but i grew tired of his possessive behavior (not that i don't have my own tendencies)
and it was just better to leave...
you don't think I should be professional with him? i am going to a lawyer this week. at first i just wanted a divorce and get it over with...
but now that he's being a jerk im consulting a lawyer to see what can be done about him getting rid of everything. i didn't think he would be so viscious

will a divorce really settle things? it sounds like you're playing around to see who's smarter at winning..
maybe this is the hallmark of aqua/libra games.
I may be wrong, but divorce does not settle things nor break you up absolutely; it just adds complications to something already so complicated. but I dont believe there would be a better way if you've not found it yet. seems like you enjoy it, even.

same with female libra/male aquarius.
i've dated more aquarians than any other sign. the sex can be pretty good, though now that my tastes have become more intimate and less showy (damn fish), i don't think i'll be attracted to another aquarian for that either.
the shortest one was a couple weeks. we'd been friends for years. he thought things would work so well, but i told him before it started that it was a bad idea, that we were completely incompatible. he'd only ever seen one side of me. he had no idea who i really was or what i was really about. then valentines day came, and i told him i'd like something, not in a demanding way, just because it would've been nice to have. and that's when we stopped talking. we started again a while later, but only as friends. he told people i was the reason he gave up on libras. i told him that he was crazy, since he should've known it wouldn't work.
the others have all hurt me though. they aren't particularly honest people. or caring people. or considerate people. at this point, the only aquarian i like at all is my aunt, and if i met her tomorrow, i'd probably hate her. it's just that we're so close.Signed Up:

I agree with the comments about Libra being a liitle weaker of the two signs..BUT, you can quickly change all that. I got stronger faster with my aqua bf and now i am DEFINITELY the boss. Otherwise they will take advantage of your weaknesses..its how those guys are made!! Romance, well there's no time for romance hahah, always more important things to be done, places to go etc etc. Basic compatibility is good, its up to the individuals how to deal with whatever problems come up.
wow...i was so wrong about you spica. i think it's the libra who doesn't understand the aqua and not the other way around.
i don't know where you get the idea that i'm "playing around to see who's winning" first off. i don't "play" when it comes to a relationship of 10 years. and that's just the sort of libra games that i DONT want to play and hence why i left. it took many talks, much consideration, a lot of mental abuse from this man, and a lot of shed tears to come to this conclusion. there comes a time when you can't sacrifice parts of yourself any longer and you have to live for you. i love this man still. i just can't STAND to be around him. this man was so possessive, manipulative, and immature. it was him that liked to pull the manipulative tricks out of the bag. a not so nice trait of libras, so i've read. and it is exactly as aqualeo put it....if you didn't agree with him he was absolutely sore about it and then would try to tell me i was wrong about whatever...oh, there goes that manipulation!
you know, i don't need someone to agree with me either. i just want you to respect/listen to my opinion and in turn i will respect/listen yours. you know, the golden rule? something this libra man just could NOT fathom. isn't that fair? isn't that what you guys are about? balance, justice, fairness?
i do NOT enjoy going through a divorce. i don't know what kind of person does enjoy it. i mean, what an insensitive thing to say! i mentioned that i have done NOTHING but be professional with him. no name calling, no internet stalking, no bullying. that has all been HIM! i thought when you're an adult and you go through something like a divorce there's a certain level of maturity between the parties. HA! not this guy. there was no talk about property division or anything like that. it was him throwing a hissy fit crying and calling me names. and still he REFUSES to talk to me on the phone like a decent person. he will only text me. and when he does he insults me. So you tell me what is so enjoyable about any of that? if anything i just want to bury my head in the sand and hope it all goes away.
now im really trying to be fair here and not just be completely jaded on libras but its becoming very hard.....
aqualeo....i wasn't really commenting on what you guys were debating, but rather HOW you guys were communicating/debtaing...which reminded me of the so called communication between libras and aquas.
your points were excellent and something i had been trying to put into words for a long time...and i couldn' t agree more...."dissent does not mean disloyalty"
thanks aqualeo...i appeciate it, but really its the best decision i EVER could have made for myself and i am much, much more happy now.
all i was trying to say basically is that its okay to disagree! im not butt hurt if someone doesn't see things my way. apparently it is not so with libras who i thought were supposed to be fair....
