Possessive Much

So here's the story...
Went out with my Libra this past weekend, met his Long Island friends (his best friends since grade school), and we all have an instant connection laughing and joking throughout the entire night. Eventually we somehow got into the discussion of PDA, libra admits he is not into the PDA thing and how it should be all be done behind closed doors. Fine whatever, convo continues and all of a sudden libra becomes exactly the opposite of what he was just saying. he seems to get annoied at me (why i dont know) and starts yanking at me hair, pulling me closer,and pinching my arm. He eventually starts chewing on my hair, and his friends laugh and i act completely aloof and laugh it off as him being cute... but hes never like that.

i think he was just marking territory.
Or you puzzle him. Something about your reaction be it verbal, body language or facial expression made him feel that you did not like his view on PDA....so he crossed over the line into your preference.
Now, if he is a jerk the way he did it was to prove the unattractiveness of PDA...or, it may have seemed akward because he was akward and out of his comfort zone. I am not big on PDA much myself, however, not completely opposed to it. Because it used to make me uncomfortable it made me feel akward initiating PDA and I would understand if it came across as akward because it was. My current relationship had me reconsider my natural dislike for PDA. I still don't like too much, but I actually enjoy a romantic kiss in public now or playful touching which I previously disliked.

Wow, i never figured it was such a huge deal... probably cuz i just do it naturally. I dont think he was trying to be a jerk, but i couldnt understand why anyone would hate pda. its not like im asking to screw in front of people. i just like affection, i like cuddling in public, i like guys who show off the 'your mine', but not in the controling way. i've always just enjoy being cute and showing affection. they all kinda teased n laughed.
