Undoubtedly, the rock era has come to an end. @_@ I don't hear rock songs being played on the radio anymore except the over-exposed rock songs of the 80s and early 90s (barring alternative rock songs of course).
This is for ROCK fans out there. I wanna hear what rock song you like, what genre you like. I particularly like post-grunge music and alternative rock.
What are yours?
Rock will never die.

i effin love sweet child o' mine! i'm butt jealous of my sister coz she can hit the high notes. it s*cks coz i don't have voice endurance. lol.
pinoy rock scene? i'm a big fan of eraserheads and just a bit of rivermaya. i love 90s pinoy rock songs. sigh... that was the golden era. i don't like bamboo though coz i feel like it's too pop-py for my taste. lol.

Oh just youtubing the song names! It's pretty cool looking at some of the old video clips lol!
Do they appear on your first page after key-ing in the title?
@nemi: haha I think this page might explode if I post everything I know Tongue
@bunny: They usually do, most artists have their own channels on youtube these days and they post everything on there.
rock awwwn
bands i like: oasis, guns n' roses, aerosmith (just a bit), creed, nickelback, matchbox 20 (except that they became way too popular lol) for their bent, bright lights and disease, nirvana, red hot chili peppers, cranberries (except the over-exposed zombies lol).
yes, i like the 90s the most. i was just a little kid then. it was 2000 (at the age of 13) when i began loving all these bands. da*n i was way too late!

< width="560" height="315" ="

< width="420" height="315" ="

Thanks, aquasnozzy... brings back high school freshman memories. smile #nostalgic
I used to be heavily into numetal/symphonicmetal/postgrunge/altrock stuff like Slipknot, Korn, Breaking Benjamin, Linkin Park, TDG, Nightwish, In Flames, most of the stuff posted here. Too emo for me now Tongue Punk and "dadrock" is my music.
Elvis, Ramones, T.Rex, The Clash, Cockney Rejects, Bauhaus, Roxy Music, Led Zeppelin, The Adicts, The Velvet Underground, Blondie, Dead Kennedys, GBH, The Beach Boys, Queen, David Bowie, Nick Cave, Slaughter and the Dogs, Buzzcocks, Patti Smith, The Godfathers, Bad Brains, Aerosmith, Genesis, The Police, Bob Dylan for amazing songwriting even though I'm not the biggest fan of his voice. Some of my faves.
Nirvana is alright, always with the same riff tho. I've seen the "new" Guns N' Roses live, quite a show.
< width="560" height="315" ="
Definitely what you mean by too emo lmao. Like Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin, hell even Linkin Park... wait a second just generally everything Tongue I'll be the first to admit I emoed out to simple plan /shame.
well what do you guys think of creed?
haha! My brain is forever mutable! I do love all the bands as you put it Nem and I'm really bad at doing favourites. I think in the case with the rock genre more times than not it's relating to the lyrics and nowadays it's a hipster moment like "I really like their sound, it's different!"
*listens to more Simple Plan and Good Charlotte*
@bunny: I think Creed has their share of good songs, reminds me a lot of Nickelback and Hinder (not sure if that's because they sorta sound the same). By the time they sorta made it to mainstream Aus radio I think I was into happy hardcore at the time :\
I forgot Radiohead and Smash Mouth. smile
< width="560" height="315" ="

Big Grin
I like Smash Mouth mainly for their COMEDY. Big Grin
Simple Plan lol! IF YA EVER FEEL LIKE BREAKING DOOOOOOOOWN I still shamefully rock them while biking along with Sum 41, blink, and the rest of pop-punk crew Tongue
Pixies are awesum. Kurt Cobain was greatly influenced by them. My favorite:
