Attention

My taurus said something to me last night. He said to me, "Good or bad, as long as I am getting attention, things are okay."
We were joking around and I said he was a jerk sometimes (which he agreed), and he said that whether the attention I was giving him was good or bad, he felt happy that I was giving him some kind of attention.
I was just curious to know if that is how you guys feel too. I find it funny considering he can disappear at times, but he still craves attention and affections regardless of what attention he's getting from a loved one.
^^^ What *IS* up with that?? LOL!
Lol well it was just interesting to me. He also told me once before that he fears teasing me too much in case he really "messes up" because he craves attention and affection.

I think thats funny. At least he is honest. :-)
LOL,omg. I guess he doesn't like to feel unimportant. Kinda sweet, but could lead to unhealthy habits perhaps. My Taurus craves attention too, in positive and negative ways. Personally I prefer to stay away from him when he's being negative.

Lol. I have pretty thick skin, and he knows his teasing can't do too much to steer me away.

He has some insecurities, but for the most part, he is pretty stable. I also just do my own thing if he happens to be brooding, going off in his little corner, ect.
I was just curious to know if other Tauruses craved attention in such a way. I don't mind it really. I thought it was kind of cute when he told me that lol. I crave attention too, but I'm far more subtle about it lol.
I guess when I was yall's age...I did want the attention of my love, even if it was negative.
I damn sure don't like negative attention now.
I've never been much of an attention seeker, with the exception of my lover, and yeah....I want it. Winking
That's how I would describe my guy; he's pretty okay with being average and doing his own thing, but he does like the attention when it's there. Especially when it's from me. He joked, "You finally started to notice me... it only took you two years."
Which is a lie... it was only a few months lol.
Off topic though,
I stayed with my taurus the other night, and before we went to bed, he told me there could possibly be a surprise for me in the morning (as long as his roommates acted right); if I didn't get the surprise, he told me he would tell me what it was. Needless to say, I didn't get the surprise when I left for work in the afternoon. But he eventually told me that my surprise was that he was going to make me pancakes. This was pretty special (and very sweet even though the pancakes were never made), considering I made him pancakes as a gift. And for him to make me pancakes, he would have had to go out and buy a bunch of pancake mix, which he didn't have before.
Even if he can be distant sometimes, her certainly does pay attention (to detail) when I least expect it lol.

That's adorable! :-) it shows effort on his part at least. And that HE pays attention which is sure why I know that he asked for attention. :-)

I can relate to that! I also stray for periods of time when I have a need to
be invisible.. I need to recharge.. and I need space..
but when I'm back I want the attention of my lover... purrrrrr Tongue
*sigh* My Virgo sister just told her Taurus she loved him, and he texted back saying he loved her too. He is with someone else, but my sister said that she could no longer hold it in. I love that you all go after what you want, and I'm really hoping he was sincere in saying it back, which I'm sure he was.
I think it's something there in both your situation and my sisters. I just think for some reason, Taurus guys are a bit scared to fall for you Virgos, from what I see. You all are very attentive, and they do seem to need, want, and love a lot of attention, which you don't seem afraid to give. I think it's just a little insecurity on their part, as there's a tendency to feel that those that are so free with their feelings and affection have more "game" than "sincerity." Just try to always be there and never EVER try to make him jealous, which is the trap my sister would fall into. Also, most Virgos seem to have a lot of admirers, which makes it harder for the Taurus, I'm sure.

That makes a LOT of sense, Ln! My situation is similar, but not.. I can see why my Taurus would think that. It's funny because it's what I think about him.. that he's got more game than sincerity. I dont know which to believe. Sad
