this probably. familiarity breeds contempt with aquas. i'm accidentally good friends with aquas prob simply coz i rarely reach out or communicate. no clinginess on my end when it comes to friendships.

but one time i was over at one of my Aqua friend house and she got into some argument with her Gemini mom who started throwing stuff around while my friend just coldly stood at the doorway and calmly told her: "dad told me not to give you extra money. your allowance should be enough." then she shuts the door and proceeds to browse tinder.

that was a total culture shock for me.

I think it’s men in general (of any sign) that will cheat. This particular cap came from a family of men who cheat on their wives and the wives all stayed through it. I was the only one in the family who didn’t.. I think as the boys grow into men and see their dads cheat on their mothers, they think it’s normal to cheat on the women they love and then the cycle repeats itself. I do believe my sons dad is sorry, he’s done a lot of therapy over the years, he’s a good dad and a good person in general. I know he felt neglected because of the baby and since he felt neglected, he sought attention elsewhere.

mine told me he's a country boy and grew up somewhere where men regularly cheated on women (yes, even ugly men) and that was the norm. women would just turn a blind eye. apparently we're just really not compatible coz of that. oh well he did eventually get his fellow country gal pregnant only to abandon her 5 months into the pregnancy.

meanwhile, according to nurses the man i married knelt and prayed while i was in labor (and he's not a very religious man at all).

in the end, it turned out amazingly for me so some people really do bless us by fvcking up.

maybe they're more compatible. i used to work with an older lady (Taurus sun/Leo moon) whose husband died (apparently a Capricorn country boy) around the time we started working together. they had 3 sons and she was the one bringing home the bacon coz he didn't really know much about any type of work outside feeding pigs according to her.

Largely depends on the moon. My father was and bro is an Aqua with Pisces moon and they are softies. My co worker who I used to be close with is Cap with Pisces moon and while he’s also sensitive, he makes very insensitive remarks at work to others. I wouldn’t pin that on astrology. I've found Aquarius men to be far more colder than Capricorn men.

From experience when I got the Aquarius guy(s) out of their head. For the

most part they were a bit more malleable in the feelings department. If they

Joking aside, I have never met an Aqua or Cap that was the same. I’ve never met any sign exactly the same. I’ve met people with the same sun/moon and they are different.
Even though it can be fun to joke around and generalize ppl by their placements, I think ppl start to really believe it like these typical generalizations.

That’s not my experience. But I probably define cold differently.
To me “cold” is someone who doesn’t care about anyone or anything, insensitive to others feelings, apathetic, and just a plain asshole
I’ve known of cold ppl in just about every sign/placement, not even joking. Even the stereotypical “warm placements” , the list can go on.
Casey Anthony was a Pisces sun Cancer moon. I mean she killed her own daughter, how much colder can you get? One of those psychopathic brothers who was on YouTube who went to Japan suicide forest and recorded and posted a dead body there was a Taurus moon.
Double pisces Richard Ramirez again how much more evil can a person get? Despite these sensitive placements, if you look up charts of ppl who have done vile things you can find stereotypical warm placements in there.
Scorpio can be pretty cold too. They are passionate but since they are so passionate they can also turn cold as ice if wronged. But not all Scorpio suns or moons are like that. There are different facets to the signs.
But some ppl describe cold as just inexpressive of emotions or ppl who hide them well. In that case then yes I would say Aqua and caps both can be that way. But in my experience the cold ppl I’ve known don’t even have those signs in their chart. I mean there definitely are, those signs are not known to be the most emotional. But I just feel people have biases towards these signs.
As someone who has Aqua placements this is always the stereotype I am faced with when someone scans my chart. Maybe I’m wrong and don’t see myself well, but I don’t feel like I’m cold at all, nor have I ever did. Ever since I’ve been into astrology and discovered I’m an Aqua moon and how much stuff on the internet says we’re cold it definitely makes me doubt who I am. I’ve had to get input around me from people close to me. That’s not a word they use to describe me. I’m far from perfect but before I even knew about astrology I identified as very sensitive. I was a brat and I liked to pretend I was tough but I was very sensitive and emotional.
I know some people probably don’t mean harm in these generalizations, but I wish ppl would be more mindful on how much they dehumanize a sign and how it might hurt certain people. At least I feel ppl really into astrology should know not to do superficially judge by a placement
i'm sure most people don't. but astrology's partly generalizations isn't it? 🗿🗿

To me “cold” is someone who doesn’t care about anyone or anything, insensitive to others feelings, apathetic, and just a plain asshole
I’ve known of cold ppl in just about every sign/placement, not even joking. Even the stereotypical “warm placements” , the list can go on.
Casey Anthony was a Pisces sun Cancer moon. I mean she killed her own daughter, how much colder can you get? One of those psychopathic brothers who was on YouTube who went to Japan suicide forest and recorded and posted a dead body there was a Taurus moon.
Double pisces Richard Ramirez again how much more evil can a person get? Despite these sensitive placements, if you look up charts of ppl who have done vile things you can find stereotypical warm placements in there.
Scorpio can be pretty cold too. They are passionate but since they are so passionate they can also turn cold as ice if wronged. But not all Scorpio suns or moons are like that. There are different facets to the signs.
But some ppl describe cold as just inexpressive of emotions or ppl who hide them well. In that case then yes I would say Aqua and caps both can be that way. But in my experience the cold ppl I’ve known don’t even have those signs in their chart. I mean there definitely are, those signs are not known to be the most emotional. But I just feel people have biases towards these signs.
As someone who has Aqua placements this is always the stereotype I am faced with when someone scans my chart. Maybe I’m wrong and don’t see myself well, but I don’t feel like I’m cold at all, nor have I ever did. Ever since I’ve been into astrology and discovered I’m an Aqua moon and how much stuff on the internet says we’re cold it definitely makes me doubt who I am. I’ve had to get input around me from people close to me. That’s not a word they use to describe me. I’m far from perfect but before I even knew about astrology I identified as very sensitive. I was a brat and I liked to pretend I was tough but I was very sensitive and emotional.
I know some people probably don’t mean harm in these generalizations, but I wish ppl would be more mindful on how much they dehumanize a sign and how it might hurt certain people. At least I feel ppl really into astrology should know not to do superficially judge by a placement

I mean it’s fine if it’s light hearted. Im not trying to say that can be completely avoided and I’m not targeting your post but more the ppl who speak more matter of factly about a sign. And I just feel like it’s more messed up when it comes to this dehumanizing of someone.



Ppl have gotten to the point where they pre judge someone without knowing them based on their placements. That’s not what any good astrologer would do. They wouldn’t go to someone’s chart and be like “oh this person is a cap so they must be cold”. Without even knowing them. If an astrologer is good they do not look at the sign only



Like ppl sometimes make generalizations or jokes about Pisces being serial killers but that doesn’t bother me as much because there are good things ppl say about them too. There’s a balance. When it comes to Aquas and Caps it’s like the only personality trait they think they have is cold and stoic. And ppl state it so certainly. That’s like if ppl only were to say Virgos were perfectionists like they have no other personality? Like they are more than that.



Idk it’s just a me problem. I’m just tired of these same things being said. I just feel like it’s the biggest insult to call any sign cold cause that’s like the worst thing a person could be

i agree with you and your sign is probably one of the luckier ones along with scorpio. reading mine don't exactly attract me to astrology 😆😆 but I'm prob much more used to it than you since as you said, yours are usually balanced.

always with the Virgos standards when literally some Virgos out there so chaotic and dating the messiest of men.

Just according to my experience.
I agree. Aquas can be normal if you gain our trust, otherwise it's empty space like liminal space.

Capricorn has more of a blocking energy to what doesn't serve it that is more consistent.

Makes sense since one is cardinal and other is fixed.

As far as reactions I would say Aqua is more cold because we don't usually have interests in anything that serves us directly. That's why we can be homeless and happy.

Capricorn can be hurt easier emotionally imo.

i wanna submit observations and experiences lol i actually don’t have much to say about aqua dudes because i haven’t dealt with them super closely so i’ll just focus on capricorn.

i won’t touch on unevolved capricorns right now since other people have done so already 😅so i wanna put the spotlight on their more misunderstood qualities?

i wanna talk about what this “coldness” might actually be. not in all cases but in some.

so…..i’ve been pondering ways to have a better relationship with my capricorn dad who can be kinda “cold” and “stiff” but i’m starting to sorta see that maybe he just expresses love differently than other people might?

his form of love might possibly be these following things:

-tough love.

- harsh discipline to teach a lesson and making sure the lesson sticks the first time around. (harsh but i wouldn’t say abusive)

-taking on the role of bad guy, making people uncomfortable in order to get a message across or in order to get to the bottom of things.

-giving lectures he thinks would be helpful to you.

-presenting harsh realities to his kids so they won’t be hurt later on.

-showing you practical ways to do things.


they’re not the best at showing vulnerability.

so that’s probably what makes them come off as “cold”. i know that my dad cares but he’s just not a “heyyyy look at my vulnerability🤪” type of guy. his upbringing may have had a lot to do with it as well ? but yeah.

just kinda wanted to offer some *possible* explanations behind this “coldness” thing lol

ok, a story about a capricorn’s strange “sense of duty” for anyone that’s interested:

i met a capricorn dude (1/14) in summer sports camp when i was 12. he was a year older. we had to get into groups of two for canoeing and he looked at me and was like “you wanna be a group?” and i was like “yeah sure” and that was the beginning of our friendship.

after the camp, we kept in touch by sending hand written christmas cards and birthday cards to each other every year (i know it’s sappy as shit but we were kids 😂) for the next five years until he went into the german military (bundeswehr) at 18. he was from munich originally. after that, we lost touch for many years.

at one point, i tried looking for his social media by typing his full name in search bars and stuff but i couldn’t find anything so i was just like i hope he’s happy and thriving somewhere on this earth…

and just went on with my life thinking i wasn’t gonna hear from him again.

but then…..fast forward to 2018, he found me on instagram. he’s out of the military and now has a wife and a daughter. i was soooo freaking ecstatic that he was alive and even had a family of his own. he had me thinking he was dead this whole damn time.

anyway, my point is,

his weird sense of duty kept him writing those birthday/christmas cards for five years in a row 😂 any other dude woulda been done after the first year, if even that 😂 after three years, even i was thinking, “ i wonder if he feels pressure to keep writing? should i tell him he doesn’t have to?” 😅but my intuition or whatever told me to keep writing and i later asked him (when we reunited in 2018) if his intuition told him the same thing and he said that he doesn’t really know much about intuition and all that stuff but he liked writing the cards cuz it was like a “routine” for him.

he said he went through a lot of emotional ups and downs in his teen years and so, doing something familiar and being connected to someone familiar who wasn’t in his immediate surroundings was apparently like comforting in a way for him.

so i guess it was like his sense of duty towards a routine combined with his long attention span (cuz you can’t continue writing cards to someone for many years with a short attention span) so i dunno . he’s always had an unusually long attention span even at camp when we were doing jigsaw puzzles and stuff

now, as a husband and a father, he’s the type of dude who puts his family first. he’s always talking about doing this and that activity with his family. 😌

as for unevolved “cold” capricorn,

i certainly do hear stories of unevolved capricorn folks being super opportunistic, disloyal, using people for a “come up” 😂 (using people to rise to the top), being controlling, going on power-tripping sprees 😂, being super judgemental of others but not holding themselves to the same standards, being a pessimistic downer, huge fragile egos, won’t listen to anyone, thinks he knows best and is above everyone etc

just avoid those ones and get you one that was raised right lol i always tell women to go for dudes who have a sense of responsibility. watch how he lives his life. is he all over place? is he always making excuses? is he arrogant? this is more important than anything else.

there are dudes out there who still hold traditional values.
