Are Gemini intense?

I’ve been thinking this ever since my first “love”. I never consider my self a clinger, in fact I’m always so detached from people. But the first man I ever fell in “love with” I’d always be super anxious about, I’d want to talk to him all the time. Be with him as much as I could. But I wouldn’t always message him, I’d simply follow his lead. But he then called me clingy (RIP).
And well, when Gemini men have been into me, they’ve chased ALOT even if I wasn’t interested. And I was like “damn son” and is that every Gemini? Are we chasers? Should I just mellow out and let the guy message me first rather than being the one like “it’s been two days I’m going to send a text”. I’m to honest with these things. If I like someone I like to make it known through actions. But then when it’s talked about I get a little skittish. And nervous about it. I think for me it’s rare I connect with someone so when I do I don’t want to let the opportunity pass me by.

I think what you describe is an extrovert falling in love. The obsession of the early stages, when you are unsure about how things will develop. Combined with the need to talk incessantly. It will calm down once you get to know each other and feel more secure with each other.

I do agree though with your last statement, I feel like that’s more me, I’m just insecure right now, I don’t know where I stand with things. I think I just need to calm down and treat it like normal rather than over thinking it. Maybe that’s where I went wrong with the first guy, I wasn’t good at holding back what I was feeling. So I’d tell him very honestly.

My love’s mom has stage 3 cancer. We’re far away from each other now. I have to work in nyc and he and his family lives in miami. A similar situation happened to me when I was 18 with another cancer moon guy. His mom ended up passing away. He shut me out
