More talkative but lacking eye contact

This guy and I have been having a secret (bc of work, we are both looking to leave) flirtation for a while. I (cap sun, scorp moon, cap venus) was more blunt to him (sag sun, Pisces moon, cap venus) about my attraction. He is talking to me more, being more open and forthcoming but even though he looks at me when he thinks I can't see him, he won't give direct eye contact. I want to be like 'dude wtf?', but I feel I should let him be to gather himself. Thoughts, please?

More blunt? Sags aren’t blunt at all, they just say things that they deem is right, tend to be know it alls. So you was well spoken. Lack of eye contact can mean two things.

1. Not confident

2. Isn’t sure about you

I'd definitely say it is the former. Since then things have almost returned and have actually improved I'd say, apart from the occasional return to not making eye contact in certain situations🙄.
