Ever since Trump dominated the headlines with his insults the world has been in a never ending crisis mode. I remember thinking his intolerable actions will normalize blatant openly corrupt antidemocratic reprehensible behavior. And then we went to covid to the withdrawal of afghanistan (remember the pictures of kabul airport) to the ukraine war.

Since then populism and open attacks on the fabric of democratic systems have been steadily increased worldwide.

I am not educated in politics i am just an average dude who is scared shitless. I have read on that in world history we always had good and bad times, going back and worth between collectively fucking up and then slowly turning the steering wheel back. What do you think? Germany is under threat as well because the afd might be ellected into parlament. Sorry for this rent i am just scared of the future. Maybe the usa and russia should start a nuclear war that will kill us all to put an end to humanity. Despite 2000 years of science and philosophy, smart people analyzing and cracking the code the clusterfuck that is the human condition we keep making the same mistakes we know we are prone of doing.

IDK you're just parroting a lot of vague concepts from MSM, there 's nothing really to address there.

It's nobody's fault that Germany has done bad things in their past, you don't need to point fingers at the whole world for your own nature. BTW you're keeping being a bully to all of europe via the european union and its unelected tyrant VDL. All of europe is being thrown under the bus to save what's left of germany's industry. They're killing off europen farmers so that germany can keep selling cars to brazil.

And you should ask yourself what are the motivation of the media who want "people" like you to believe that "populism" is a bad thing.

huh? We are miscommunicating. Are you conservative / right leaning? I didnt say anything about the holocaust. I was just venting about the fact that in several countries politicians are undermining checks and balances. Populism tends to be bad because it taps into peoples fears but more than not the populists have antidemocratic tendencies. I agree germany is a pretty aggressive bully to other countries.

I am not happy about that either. Doesnt refute my opinion though

I'd argue the US is a Republic. The Constitution states this and people confuse the two.

Elected Officials, Presidents etc are all purchased and bow to the highest bidder or those who fund their campaigns. Most of what you see is an illusion and its quite baffling how Congress does not have term limits. For a country to be ruled by the people, we are perpetually in war or starting conflict amongst other countries.

Just turn off the news. You'll be happier because the idea of America and what we see are constantly at odds with each other and its complete hypocrisy.
