Idk if it needs saving. It's basically an illegal and or underpaid workforce supporting a bunch of rich people. Both get what they need/want. That's how it ended up how it is today.

That's why the business model keeps growing. Skid row is just a front cause they allow it. And there's no decentralizing it either, it's spread to Central California and is moving upwards to other states and a bit Eastward. It's probably the best business model anyone could hope for.

The problem is the crime, which is there to keep the socioeconomic inequality. But that's part of the business model. It just sucks for average Americans who wanna move there, otherwise everyone else is vibing. Needs radical change which I don't see happening. It was Reagan that actually created the backdrop for modern LA by granting amnesty to a huge number of illegal immigrants. Even I was surprised it happened that way.

The true crap hole no one speaks about is Orange County. Rich folk don't care about the migrants as long as they can live along the beach and in gated communities.

Just to clarify. Not sure about Pratt's 'politucs', but his home was destroyed in the Palisades Fire, the one durung which Karen Bass was on a jaunt in Africa.

Pratt still hasn't been able to rebuild, much less many others.

But not to fear, the fearless 'leaders' of California want to put up multi-family housing instead. Perhaps a bunch of transition clinics as well.

And as far as Newsom....well, not much needs to be said about that vacuous pretty boy.
