Wonder why people try to get you in a trouble when you're still new and don't know exactly what you're doing at work just yet... I remembered a situation from long ago when I was just few months in. Boss's assistant was on a vacation and so was he, so meanwhile I was her replacement. When he's away, other 2 bosses bellow him sign paperwork on his behalf. So this colleague brought something that needed to be signed and I took it with everything else to one of them for signature. When she signed it he asks me to put a stamp on it - my boss's stamp - and boss haven't mentioned I should be doing that so it sounded off to me🤔 he goes on about it being required and that it's not a big deal...ok I said, let me see about it with Claire (lets call her that, the other boss). And she says "did Chris (lets call boss this name) tell you to put stamps on?" I said "nope, we never talked about it". She said "then don't, tell him to go get a stamp from people at accounting...idk why he's even asking you that, he knows he needs their stamp after all". And I told him so and went back to my place but it got me puzzled, why would someone ask me to do this if they already know it's not his stamp that needs to be on this paper (different paper require different stamps and each department has theirs) and what would happen if I didn't think things through and just used the stamp cause I was never told to either use it or not and had full liberty to do whatever? I could have messed up not just for myself but for others as well because no one really introduced me what I should and shouldn't do, they just let me figure it out on my own🙄

Virgo and I are officially engaged and plan to marry in May. Things have been really wonderful, both professionally and personally. I feel bad I haven’t been checking posts very often. But I guess most of us don’t nowadays.

One of my previous coworkers from my prior toxic job reached out to me tonight. She wanted to check in and see how I was liking my new job and to let me know she passed her realtors exam and how it won’t be long before she’s putting in her resignation. I’m truly happy for her as I wouldn’t wish that job on my worst enemy. She told me the job has gotten worse and management has gotten worse. (Didn’t think that was even possible!). She said they hire new people and they don’t even stay past the training period. I can’t blame them! It’s a fucking train wreck! I thank my lucky stars everyday that I’m finally out and free of that hell hole!
