Happy Easter everyone.

Spent the day with my brother and little nephew. My nephew is still sick unfortunately. I feel so bad for him as you can hear the congestion in his chest when he breathes and he’s still recovering from an ear infection. My parents are both sick now too as well as my brother, his wife and her parents. WTH….its spring now! Why is everyone getting sick? Went shopping earlier today and bought my little nephew an Easter basket to give to him tomorrow to hopefully cheer him up. I hate seeing babies sick.😔

As someone who actually owns over a dozen turantula, I can safely say these animals don't want to bite you, you even want anything to truly do with you. They just want to chill and thrive.

She ate her boyfriend... It might seem odd to keep basement spiders in your house, but this species known as Pholcidae are harmless to humans. In fact they mostly eat pests like gnats and other spiders. They aren't known for making a symmetrical or patterned web, but opportunistic. Meaning they tend to live in messy webs made by spiders that lived long before them. When it comes to arachnids, mainly spiders and turantula, the female is much larger then the male. The male will create what is called a sperm web, which is literally blowing his load in a web, then sucking it up in his pedipalps. Which are the two smaller legs closest to his face. It's truly like a squirt gun. He then has to not only enter the females web, but try his best to not appear as pray. He also has to get in, and out as fast as possible because she 100% wants to eat him. A couple of facts is spiders molt, which means they become to large and have to shead their exoskeleton. If a female arachnid goes through a molt while gravid, or in other words, pregnant, the entire reproduction process is aborted. In other words if she eats too much, it will force her to molt, which means the males attempts to reproduce were worthless, and she will continue to live her life like nothing happened. I find this type of stuff fascinating. I know majority don't care, or are scared of spiders, but all the life living within our existence is truly amazing imo.
