Anniversaries?
I thought I might ask him to take me to eat at a nice place with candlelight and white tablecloths. But, I don't want to be lame, either.
Ideally, the place we went on our first date would be cool, too. lol! But, it's not really his cup of tea I have since found out.

I've learned they are creative but not entirely sentimental. You may have to remind him of the anniversary and basically tell him what ya want
I mentioned it. Like, Hey, I just realized it's March. Our first date was in March of last year! Can you believe it's been a year since we first went out?

So then you say we should celebrate our one year anniversary. I was thinking doing xyz. What do you think?
I didn't. I thought I'd give him a chance to plan something when he gets home next week. Put the ball in his court, let him take the lead on this one.

Seems like I've spent so much time on the Scorp forums that now I think I feel blows to my ego.

One year's anniversaries for sure! Cept for me it's more like the first time I ever laid eyes on you or made the connection we were meant to be now there's a sentimental one year but then again I do most of the planning because I can't help it. Though one thing's for sure, I'm sure he picked up on it so he's probably expecting something now *shrugs*

He usually doesn't seem to mind when I try to make a plan. However, I do know that with men, if the woman does most of the planning, they will stop planning fun stuff to do.

I realize aquas are not romantic and honestly, I feel the thought would not even cross his mind to do something special for say, a one year anniversary from your first date. I'm not one of those hopelessly romantic females who feel that every one month, three month, six month anniversary should be celebrated (to me that is silly), but I think a one year mark is a pretty good milestone.
For the record, I have no expectations, but I'm just curious as to celebrating would be something you would consider or be opposed to.
