I've read that Aqua men won't lie when you ask them a blunt question ... The first time. Any time after, the more you ask and disbelieve, he's said to give you wilder and wilder stories to that same question.
How true do you find this statement?

Maybe if you're annoying and needy. Usually, if he loves you, you don't have to ask, he'll tell you all.

I dont get this. I mean why would you ask the same question over & over unless u yourself different variations of the answer. If he lies the 2nd time around, it means he is giving u what u want, variety. It would annoy me too if sumbody asked me 1 thing over & over, to avoid boredom i would dig into my fantasy bag for less boring answers. It just doesnt make sense to repeat questions unless ur deaf & couldnt hear the answer the 1st time. I mean, come on.

Ahahaha. This thing is funny. 1st time asked: what did u do? I walked to the store. 2nd time asked: i did frog leaps to the store. 3rd time asked: i took a ufo to get me to the store. What do u expect? LOL

Hypothetical question peeps. Some people are honest no matter how many times you ask. And some never speak the truth...was wondering how Aquas fared...hmmm

Well sum find it annoying if u aren't hard of hearing, but still continue asking for an encore. Its an individual thing

I get the annoying part, but if the story changes, it'll be harder to believe someone in the future with different questions, don't you think?

Agree, but it shows disbelief in the 1st place if u keep pressing repeat, so whats the use of repeating the same answer if it didnt hit home the 1st time?

Plus maybe sum details were forgotten the 1st time, by the time u ask for the 100th time, the whole story might be detailed & complete- if they are that patient

Personally i'd tolerate it until round two, more than that is ridiculous if the asker is not wearing a hearing aide or have short term memory loss

More like unsatisfying answers the first time to cause a re-asking. Not a quest to catch an error or hearing loss, lol. Nothing diabolical. Maybe insecurity, maybe forgetfulness. Maybe the answer was too wild the first time to actually believe.

Ur right, different strokes/different folks. I was about to suggest that the answering of questions to be done in a huge hall or a cave, so the echo could do the repeating while i walk away.

"Agree, but it shows disbelief in the 1st place if u keep pressing repeat, so whats the use of repeating the same answer if it didnt hit home the 1st time?"
Amen!
Unless it's an answer that would cause conflict, I am upfront and honest. With conflict for those I love, I may pussyfoot around and be as delicate as possible. I agree with all the answers above about repeating the question several times over. It's annoying. It's annoying to constantly repeat oneself... Example: my mom, a Sag, will go on for hours about finding a lighter in the wash machine... in thousands of different ways - all saying the same thing. As I've grown I've tried to reason with her about how the water boiler guys or the oil delivery men don't need to here about it too - for another hour, about asking 21 questions - all the same question but worded differently, and about how after being told more than 3 times, no one listens and they will do what the hell they want. It's like beating a dead horse. My dad on the other hand, a Cap, is laid back and silent unless really pissed off - a lot like me. I'm so glad I don't live there. I value my sanity too much.

Lol, exactly. Or the tree jumped infront of me, in the case of car accidents.
