Since you asked other Air Ladies to chime in ... I will weigh in.

I am aloof, cold, and detached. Oddly, I appear very warm, friendly, and sensitive. There is that component to my make-up but the warmth only goes so far. I generally am detached from people and allow them to come and go through my life, but while they drop in I make them feel as if we have been friends for years.

I expect to be courted and if I am lucky, seduced. 😉

Passion isn't as important as the seduction and game that came first. I don't see any men as bed partners ... even my bedpartners. lol!

I am not sure I understand the hard to give of herself part. I have tons of friends, interests, hobbies, etc .... but when a man has weaseled into my heart. He unfortunately stays there. I would probably do more for a partner I loved, than I would do for myself.

I found the promise bit interesting. I tend to be a fighter for the noble good. I never connected that to the honour and idealism of being an air sign. I thought it was Libra justice at work. I try to live with intergirity and honour.

I have only been blessed with one Auqa friend. What I love about her is the complete lack of emotion. Oh it is there, but it isn't on display. It lies underneathe. You can see it in little flashes but then it is covered again. We talk in ideals never in emotions.

For example I could say, in a very dispassionate voice, "I am thinking of killing myself."

She would reply, "Oh that is terrible!" Then, in the same indifferent voice I used, "That is terrible idea. Have you considered ..... ?"

And we would have the most unimpassioned conversation about suicide. Neither of us would show any more emotion than if we were talking about the weather. It would be all practical and ideals. We would discuss the theory not the emotional implications.

And that is why I love her.

I'm lost P...I got the charcoal and wood chips but what are "knobs!" fish, chicken, steak, veggies—? or are you being funny and speaking about doors?

soooooooooooooooo NOT TRUE.. i can cook alot of diff. cuisines... i enjoy cookin... i can cook Italian, greek, chinese, indian, turkish, mexican, maltese...

i can even make pizza dough and lasagne from Sratch.....
