Aqua jealousy normal?

My Aquarius man is very jealous and possessive although he always says "I'm not insecure".. lol I think it is cute. It may be because he's 37 and divorced with 3 kids when I'm 24 and I get hit on a lot.
He doesn't have social media but he told me he looks at my instagram though his brothers account. lol he even has it on his phone to stalk me.. he just told me straight up without thinking it's weird. I loved he honesty! Are Aquarius men jealous like that normally?
He also calls me when drunk and says he loves me and always calls me beautiful. He first slipped " I love you" while drunk calling me. But now we both say it and he says it often. Do they mean it when they say it? It just sucks because on weekends he has his kids so he doesn't text me as much. I initiate on the weekends with short texts saying "have a great day with the boys. I love you" but he's short with his texts. But weekdays he always initiates and is super sweet. Should I still reply even when he's short?

Don't know how long you've been with him.
Oftentimes, I've found that severe jealousy is due to the fact that they are doing something to you that they don't want you doing to them.
Sounds like he cares. Don't ruin it with your demands or insecurities.
