Aqua sun/ Libra moon/ Cap venus - A combination of trouble?

I've collected a great deal on articles about these placements:
- aqua sun/cap venus is double aloof due to air/earth placement.
- these placements could lead to a man who wants no commitment whatsoever.
- libra (air) might show a tiny bit of emotion but is still aloof and dependent.
imo articles are various, and sometimes isn't correct. I don't know much about the placements when combined, but separately, capricorn and libra are signs of a stable relationship, at least so because I have cap in venus also. so it's confusing for this combination right or wrong because I can't seem to figure this person out.
Thoughts?

He is detached but also warm
He is only interested in serious relationships woth partners who can meet his intellect and wit
He loves to communicate via text... if he has time he can easily chat all day
Takes work very seriously but has changed careers multiple times
He is moody at times, can be sympathetic and sensitive but he himself may not feel much
I feel like he is extremely tender and gentle but also guarded. Its not about who will hurt him, its that he has so little to give he is cautious who gets access.

I should add, from the other perspective, if they don’t mean it, they won’t say it. It took him a year and a half to tell me he loved me. Now, he says it multiple times a day.
He never seemed to mind me telling him. Cap venus does need reassurance and need to know they’re not going out on a limb by themselves. I just said it and owned it. Didn’t worry about hearing it back because I just knew he did. Sure, it’s frustrating when you don’t know, but the actions speak for it.

I can confirm the high entrance barrier for relationships. Every Aqua with Cap Venus aside from myself take relationships very serious, if they ever happen.
Are you young?
No trouble at all. They won’t commit until 100% sure, and they need to know that they can have their independence because it is extremely important for them. But that moon craves a relationship and looks forward to be in one. It just has to be the perfect one or they wouldn’t bother. One they know they are in for good.

Ehh, communication is not the greatest. But we tend to just know what the other is thinking so it works.
We have easy conversations, but sometimes I think it’s hard to put certain things in words.
When we dated we texted or spoke in person.
For what it’s worth, I’m not a good communicator either. However we both have earth moons and just seem to know how each other is feeling. A lot of things go unsaid because they don’t need to be said. We both hate hashing over subjects over and over. We just don’t go there and it works.

My ex in-laws are both aquas. They bicker, they laugh. They each do their own thing, then come together at the end of the day. They love each other deeply and are faithful and loyal. They have no problem communicating and are actually quite funny in their interactions-especially when they bicker. They know it’s all in love. It works for them and they are happy.
Yeah, they are the ex in-laws and I still have a close relationship. Love them to the moon and back and they love me too.

I also have a business and he has been very supportive with the compliment, not that I have anything for him to help me with. anyway, yes I did feel the warmth and all the feelings he projects but I haven't really discussed anything emotion-related with mine because I read that Aquarius is a sucker for talking emotional stuffs so...So I guess it's best - like you said - to not focus on the feelings. I also have a Cap venus, and Aqua sun isn't that much of a trouble but Libra moon is strange to me since I met several Libra only interested in fwb and it sucked, nonetheless they're also unemotional creatures and this trio combines an aloof attitude. But eventually, everything works out like you said, they still exudes warmth somehow somewhere and that surprises me!

Idk, maybe they're still immature, but I told myself to stay away from virgo and libra because they don't connect with their emotions and that is frightening. Well he is not a Libra, he is a Aqua. Totally different. Actually in this case you are lucky he has a libra moon because that is the placement that will make him look for commitment.
Do you know his Mars? That will make a big difference.
And if he is warm and sweet when you are together I don’t think you have anything to worry about. That is the most important thing. It means he really likes you.

I was so nervous in the past because he was quiet. He didnt express what he liked or felt.
Now he is open about it. We talk about what we like and how. We talk about the moments we enjoyed. He takes time to share his desires and feelings.
To me, that is true intimacy. The ability to communicate freely.
Once health, work and schedules align I know its going to be amazing. Because I feel so emotionally connected and secure. Plus, dude kniws what I like.
I think the air in both of us reallllly like sexting. Sending pics and talking. I feel so hot and bothered when I aend him pics and he is at work. I LOVE it.

Edit: I’ll give you an example to illustrate my
point. My Aqua sun with libra moon cousin has been in a series of relationship in his youth, now he’s with one woman and been with her for 7 yrs. The woman wants to get married, move in together and he shuns all of that. He says it very clearly to the family (not necessarily her because he’s your charming leeb moon) that he doesn’t want the responsibility. Eventually the woman is gonna get tired and leave him, which is mostly what happens with them. When the going gets tough (relationship warrants responsibility) they be on their merry way.

We are detached from our emotions. We are emotional like every human being is, but in a very different way than others. An emotional person will just not understand our way of processing emotions. Not surprised at all with what you just wrote. They never go single and nor are they your typical players. They just like to do a series of long-term relationships. What determines the longevity is their partners need for seriousness/solid commitment in the relationship. They aren’t faking their intimacy or affection when they are with you. They enjoy romantic partnerships and willing to stay as long as their partner doesn’t pressure them into committing to responsibilities that tie them together (sharing a space together, bills, children etc).
A partner who isn’t interested in pressuring or expecting.
Everything has to be on their terms.
I think half the reason he and I work is I’m such an avoidant personality myself that I would have been scared off if he came in strong. I turned him down intially because I felt pressured.

For example, I met a dude recently who I hit it off with. We spoke for 4 hours the first time we spoke. The connection was crazy that we wanted to meet up immediately. One shouldn’t start romanticizing things just over the phone connection because in-person chemistry is very different from over the phone. We met up and this guy was shorter than me. That was such a killer for me. Perhaps I would have overlooked the height if other things were great. Financially, he wasn’t exactly where I am and so doesn’t meet what I’m looking for. Although I was into him, I became completely aloof to him after the date was over. We had a really good 4 hour date but the moment I was dropped home, I had an instantaneous detachment.
