Aquarians and emotions?

So first of all i'm not an aqua so i don't know but i would like to know if you guys/girls get emotional but obv do not show it to others?
I have read so many people saying that aquarians are all cold and cruel and detached? But i don't believe that you aquas are cold hearted people.

Some of them are but I highly believe it's just an act. I think a lot of people who are interested in astrology act the way their sign traits are meant to be.
You know as a man it's interesting because most people who believe in astrology are women and they observe our behaviour if they are interested in us. If a man is not interested in astrology but knows the woman he likes is, then he can either act in a way that confirms his sign traits or actually act totaly different in order to make her become more interested in him. ^^

Yes i do and yes i dont usually show it to others only to those i have trusted that wont judge my emotion or reaction because most of the time i am misunderstood for the way i speak,and i detach to have a peace of mind in that period i will do whatever i want and you cant stop me even if you are my parent after that i will do the things i left behind or talk again to those people that im ignoring in that period of my detachment,it takes a month or so but i will come back to talk to my friends again
Although I do display some emotions (anger due to Aries moon, etc.), I'm trying to maintain integral stability, and therefore I might act as an emotionless prick at times. If people really saw what's going on, I would probably be in a psych ward.
Maybe it's experience + Upbringing.
What saw as a kid really made me close up in terms of opening up emotions. I've actively tried to work on this but I guess all those experiences never turned out to be pleasant ones.
Friends of mine (The Aqua couple) one had a pretty bad upbringing too and it's hard for her to speak about emotions but her other half has no issue with it
I'll agree with others that it's a very cruel thing to do but as long as we trust you we'll open up eventually, just be ready to receive it whenever we do as it could be anytime otherwise it will definitely be a missed opportunity. I find I'm pretty selective like that... almost an expiration timer for me opening up, after that I'll never open up to that person ever again.

I'm a Aqua Venus so I'll speak from the romantic sense of emotion. I can show emotion but a lot of the time I don't. It doesn't mean I don't feel emotional on the inside when in an emotional setting , during an emotional time etc. I rather keep it together for the other person to let it All out. It's basically me protecting myself. I can be detached but again it's usually me protecting myself.

Better let them thrashing inside and then eat them fresh. The dismembering comes later so yea they don't really feel any pain from that. Sorry to disappoint
@babygrlxo We are constantly misunderstood and I think it's partly due to our fault because of the way we might come off to some people but then again you can't please everyone, I guess. I think a lot of people misinterpret aquas as being cold-hearted because we can and will cut someone out of our lives as if they never existed if they have ever terribly wronged us. We are also masters at ignoring you, so I guess we can also come off cold-hearted, in that regard. But don't let these misconceptions fool you (as I see you don't believe we are), us aquas are actually truly warm-hearted people deep inside. I'd say we are truly altruists at heart and care deeply about the world, our environment including all of the animals along with it.
