Aquarius and passionate love—

Hey guys! I was wondering if you could tell me if you Aquas like being in passionate realationships? I mean they dont have to be OVERLY passionate and lovey dovey like a Scorpio can be, but still a love relationship.


Ok a bit of info:

The guy that Im currently dating used to tell me when we were just friends that he would want to enter in a business realtionship with a girl he would would marry in the far future. (We're still only like 20). But then we got together. In the beginning he said that he doesnt like to rush emotionally in relationships. And Im pretty sure that's because of his last two relationships. One girl cheated on him and the other one was very dependent on him and tended to lie a lot.

But resently after I helped him when he was going through a depressing time in his life he became more loving towards me. He never was touchy and now he likes to just hold me when we're alone. He says that he cares about me, really likes me, trusts me, would die if anything happened to me, is emotionally safe and dependent on me, draws and paints me pictures and writes me poems. But he still has trouble SAYING those nice things to me. Hahaha he'll only write and text them to me. And if he does actually vernbally say it to me, he says it very jokingly and laughs.


So basically some of the questions I have are, do you Aquas like being in love? Not platonic love, but real love? Why is it so uncomfortable for Aquas to say how they feel?? Embarassed? Afraid of getting hurt?? And also compared to how you guys normally act when your in love, does the guy Im seeing now seem like a typical Aqua in love? Or do you guys think that he just really likes me?? Hahaha I am WAYYY too scared to ask him a question like that cause it might freak him out and I definately dont wanna push.

Hey If I may tag onto this one-- I'm curious too. I met an Aqua man two weeks ago and we are dating. Not intimate yet, in due time. He is awfully awfuly sweet, says very nice ramontic things, doesnt seem to fit the paltonic mode of Aquas. Of course I've not been given the "I need space" speach yet.... Be happy with what you're getting. They say if you want words of love don't date an Aqua....him writing you poems and painting pictures is already a breakthrough. For an Aqua actions speak louder than WORDS, appreciate this in him and let him communicate his feelings in the way he is comfortable doing it. Frankly I'd rather have a man SHOW me he loves him than tell me....

She does need more. I can only see resentment coming from her posts in the future.

I would tell any woman to take control of their lives and get what they want and deserve in any aspect of life. With that said, you have a good thing going, but like most women you need to push the limit.

I thought the dating process was that of elimination where you had to find something to your liking and stay. If it's not to your liking, then move on? why is it so hard to move on and have to push for someone to commit the way you want?

if it's not easy to get into... what's it going to be like down the road? the beginning is the honeymoon stage I thought.

Most times I hear someone say Aquas are commitment phobes or they're blah and blah... imcompatibility keeps ringing loud and clear but being excused for sun sign.

Its not for everyone. Contrary to what this board may tell you there are aquas in good and loving relationships.

We actively seek the person with the most patience, b/c thats what it all comes down to. SF is right the emotions take sometime to come together, etc...but if its there... its there. You'll know it. SO if you just give up on us we'll chalk it up to once again we're misunderstood and we'll move on and continue to be single or confuse the hell out of someone else until it works. Someone comes along and takes the time to cultivate a good relationship with TIME and effort. Thats why we do the friends first. When your just a friend your taking the TIME to cultivate a deep bond, but once the word relationship is slapped on their everyone (our S.O.) gets jittery, b/c it may not seem like what a relationship should be or what jenny down the blocks relationship looks like from the outside looking in. Expectations..those darn expectations.

Like furry says, her guy just met the right one for him. He probably improved his ways as well after being with her, but the new girl just works.

We must remember that jen's relationship is NOT bad, but I guess its not all that she wants and expects.

what you write though sounds like a good formula, works with constant factors... with 2 involved, 2 people's factors have to be taken into consideration - so are relationships that clear cut? there're people here that have taken the friends 1st route, waited, done this, that, according to astrology and stuff, but can the rare thing called common sense be taught? idk - but I think common sense should help determine what we stay patient for.

lol lk, if you're working that hard, make sure the other person is working just as hard or sharing any suffering - and no one's using it as an excuse to get another to mutate to their wishes.

I honestly font get how someone can profess there love for another within months, do you honestly think you can love me so quickly without knowing all of me...the good and the bad??

I understand a relationship takes 2 people with 2 different POV's. Which is why I usually tell any and everyone to get what they want in life. You are responsible for your happiness, so its up to you to go and get it....with or without that particular someone.

lol - it's a common mistake for a lot that go into engineering - they focus, tunnel vision - the second you do that, you specialise and get stuck... all the directors of most engineering firms I know have business background... they tell engineers what to do and just draw charts and forecast 😛
