Aquarius guy (my friend) and his games/tests

So he would txt me that he misses me or would say it like, "do you miss me?" he is so sweet! I would even tell him over the phone that I miss him . He will let me know when he is going out of town and when he will be back. The whole nine.

sometimes I will have to ask him though.
I started noticing him changing about 3 wks ago. I.e. the tests started up. I told him that I really missed him, like 3 wks ago and he tried to change the subject by telling me about a song on the radio. Prior to that I did a "bad" thing by trying to probe and get more out of him about his feelings towards me. I notice that I am able to get much out of him when he is verrrrry sleepy on the phone with me at night. So one night, like 3 was ago I was asking him about his feelings toward me blah blah blah and one of the things he told me was, It is best to take things slow. I said well i want you to go fast lol! He shouted, Fast! It is best to go slow because when you go slow it is more effective. He also said that he need time to gather his feelings or something on those lines. I forgot the exact words he used. Anyway, it made me feel good. When I brung it back up to him the next day, he got a little mad. He didn't want to talk about it. He said must we talk about everything I said. He said must we always go back to square one again talking about feelings all the time?
So that's when I noticed him changing. The tests began. He would try and throw in comments to see how I feel about certain things. But it's done real slick like. And I always pick up on it to answer it well. The calls game started two weeks ago. He even started playing games of not calling me during the day like he used to. I started to be the one always calling him during the day and i would not get through. When he will call is at night. Or he would text me something special at night. So I started to mimick him by not calling at all. Or if I would call it was only once a day. That's it! I forgot to mention that at times he would call me back like an hour or two hours later though. But I would have to be the one to call him during the day majority of the time since two wks ago. Because of this I find him calling me baby more or another nick name. Lol! so just the other day, we were talking and he came out and told me to call him during the day. He does not care what time, just call him. So I did call him once during the day and he did not answer. Lol! I felt like a fool. Continued again. . .
