Oh no this is the first time, that's the problem, first impressions make lasting impressions..
He flaked out on me & left me hanging with no response for over 5hrs, no excuse is acceptable from him especially since we've had great conversations up until this today. His text tonight was unapologetic just stating it's late & he still has errands to do, yea whatever, sounds like he has a girlfriend, that's his errand ...

I'm not telling you to "allow" anything, all I'm saying is, this has happened one time only so far. Seems to me like you're punishing him for the mistakes of others, in the past maybe *shrugs* Because the way you're speaking it's like you've been through this a numerous times & I thought it was with him but you said no it wasn't. My point is, you don't know if he indeed ran into problems last minute & the only way to know if he is the full of shit type is by seeing if he does it again..by giving him a last try. If he does it again then you can end your friendship. This is a suggestion, take it or leave it..you're grown.

You are pissed because he took 5 hours to respond. HE responded, just not on your timetable. Just to give him the benefit of the doubt from ur opinion, I just texted him hi & guess what?? He responded asap saying oh I've been very busy yesterday soo if he responded so quickly just now meaning he's not too busy, why did I have to text him first? He's not mad cause he wouldn't have responded so quickly or at all, explain this scenario pls if I'm jumping to conclusions? In ur opinion?? How should I respond?

Sorry about your friend. Please accept my sympathies.
But seems to me, if he sent you a text that MORNING telling you he was having problems, he wasn't blowing you off at the last minute. That was actually a pretty considerate thing to do.
Then, he was busy all day and probably didn't keep his phone on him. Then when he did respond, you ignored him. Yeah, he was probably waiting on a text from you.
Try to be more understanding and more flexible - it's NOT a recurring problem. Yet, anyway.
You seem high maintenance and you have a chip on your shoulder. You're not cut out for an aqaurius. Perhaps this it's for the better that you move on to the next guy.
