Sometimes I have nothing to say. I'm not a fan of meaningless chit-chat, if I send a text it's because it's something urgent/important.. I don't send texts just to say 'good morning', etc & I don't get people that do either.

Exactly! And people are surprisingly sensitive about it too... especially when you're online and don't send something back. It's like you broke their hearts...

Yes they're super annoying. The guy who was married to my mother likes to send texts like that but it's usually 'good morning' 'how are you?' etc...EVERYDAY. So sometimes I don't answer because the answer is the same like yesterdays...I'm not about to have a conversation I already had.

I always was, maybe because I kinda hate texting... People tend to get your message wrong and stuff, that and I never know what to say to people who send me these chit chat texts.

Believe it or not, only 5 people have my number & I have only 9 contacts in my phone. I have no dialed numbers & only 6 received calls in one mnth. I'm not a phone person at all, I use it only for the internet.

One of my friend was like that too,and she showed me she had 200 ringgit(Malaysia money unit) in her prepaid card,I was so shock about it hahaha

Yeah,my ex Pisces did that,you know I was sleeping in the 6 something morning and he suddenly text and says good morning.I just ignored it.And sometimes they ask something stupid(sorry to describe like this) when they ask how are you,are you happy,what are you doing.They are probaly controlling me and asking something that they had know.Please,you know I'm rather happy and you still ask the question that you've already confirmed the answer.The worst part is one he asked my "have you sleep"(I hadn't but I didnt reply)Even if I've,the message would have woke me up.And another Aries was so annoying,coz it was the last day of the school for last year,she keep on messaging and calling(more than 20 times as i remember) if I'm going to school.I just ignored her and silent my phone as I've already told her before

I change my number often & with each new number I add fewer people & give it to a chosen few. When my phone rings I want the call to be from someone that means something to me. I have a leo friend that gives her number to random people & she is always excited to get calls..any call. I don't understand that at all.

Probably just a work habit more than anything. Sometimes things just happen though and you can't reply for a good couple of hours so give or take lol.

My phone is always at the bottom of my purse or hiding under a pillow, on silent. I see texts days later.

We're lazy texters b/c we don't see texting as a real/genuine form of communication.
It's hard enough as it is to get an Aqua to pay you some attention when you're asking to communicate with them in ways that they consider real & more personal!
Add the fact that some see texting as a laziness altogether, & it's a wrap!
It's almost impossible for me to connect through texting. Texting doesn't stimulate my mind, no matter how interesting the convo may be. I only use texting as a last resort to communicating, not a 1st resort.
I'd rather hear your voice, see you, etc. that way I have an easier time determining whether or not I feel you are aren't just all talk & no action.
Plus texting is like Twitter. There's only so much you can say. And we're Aquas, so all of our inner thoughts wouldn't even be able to fit into a text message anyway lol

+1 to just about everything everyone has said.
My phone is for emergency purposes; I have not set up my voice mail in the last 6 or 7 years; NOR will I ever.
I do not like to text, at all; for me texting is very difficult because when I am not in someone's physical presence and cannot see (read) their expression/body language or hear the tone in their voice I feel as though I am missing crucial information that I need to sustain the conversation. With texting the conversation never feels complete or whole. Nor does it feel to me satisfying.

It's my aqua mars, loves word play and making innuendos out of something innocent. I can't wait to see what they come up with to text or say back. lol! And lots of times, my aqua is surprised and caught off guard with things I say sometimes. He loves it because he never knows what I'm going to say.
Hmm my mother once told me I would be her last person to call or text if she was in an emergency lol. I don't pay too much attention to my cell unless "I" need to make a call, otherwise it stays on my bag.

Just remember, there is a real live person at the other end of that text and that person likes you or they wouldn't be texting you. It's rude not to respond within a timely manner.

100% agree, like I posted above I must be the rare aqua that doesn't wait to reply. It drives me bat shit crazy when I text someone and they take forever to respond or they don't. I find it disrespectful. Obviously if it doesn't require a reply that's different.
my aqua guy texts me every day all day. Whenever we can we text. We're always connected. consecutively for 2 months now. I think it depends on the person and the situation.

I am probably one of the best Aquarius texters out there. I literally have my phone with me 24/7 except when I'm in the shower. The only time I don't text back is when I'm sleeping, well that's obvious lol. I text back RIGHT AWAY and I don't wait. Unless whoever is texting me is really annoying then I pretty much ignore them or text back them days later. I am very good at responding to texts 🙂
