Does he like me or being aqua friendly?

Here is my story. I hope someone out there can give me so added insight. I have sleepless nights trying to figuere all of this out. i have posted some of this story all ready but there is more and i just need some guidance as to what route I should take.
A little background info. I met the aqua guy i like at the gym. He is my personal trainer. I actually met him through my ex husband who i was living with at the time (that is another story all togehter) We were trying to make it work again and i signed up at the gym he goes to. So aqua man knows both of us, he actually knew my ex a lot longer, even played bball with him on the weekends a couple of times. My intention with a trainer was to get back into shape feel better and have the relationship with my ex that I always wanted. I never set out to fall for my trainer. But there was so much flirting and i tried my best not to read too much into what was happening. There was always really intense eye contact during my workout and even one time when i was leaving he said "ciao bella" in a very serious tone. he said it another time but mumbled it.
He plays lacrosse its his passion just loves the game. Anyways, I went to one of his games without telling him I was going. I just showed up and it was like an hour away from where I live. Its the Aries in me that makes me do crazy things like this. So me and my friend went to the game, we left right afterwards didn't wait around to see him. the next day i called to gym to make an appointment with him. when he got on the phone first thing he said was "Did I see you at my game last night" Yes. that was me. Then he went on to tell me that he tried texting me to wait for him after his shower and he even walked around the parking lot looking for me. I told him my cell phone was broken and didn't any of those messages. That night I went to the gym to talk with him and the first thing he said when he saw me was that "it just made his heart melt to see me sitting there" i just blusehd and smiled and said well i just wanted see what lacrosse was all about and that I hope I was good luck. he said he didn't know about the rest of the team but he played good. i didn't say much to all these great things he was saying. Did I mess up? Was it one of those aquarian tests? He melts my heart too but I didn't tell him that.

During this whole time of knowing him since april the relationship with my ex has gone down hill. Aqua man know all about the situation and would always ask when am imoving out. Well i finally did on aug 4th. two days later aqua man got a ride home from me after our session and then on friday last week we went to the drivein i asked him. both times i felt like i messed up. i gave me opportunities and i threw them away. my aries fire was trying to be so patient but maybe he liked my forwardness. I just clammed up when we were alone when ireally wanted to make a move.
