HELP-Aqua Male

Hi I am interested in an Aqua Male. Im a Gemini female. I have only been involved with Saggi Men. Well everyone knows how they are LOL. I am having a difficult time knowing what to do and what not to do to attract this georgous guy. Can any of you Aqua Men out there tell me how I proceed without totally scaring this guy off?
I think he is interested as we talked for a time and then stopped. He sent me an email over Chirstmas wishing me a Merry Christmas and that he missed me. We spoke a few times since then. But no romantic interest that I can tell. Or maybe there is, I don't know.
Some things I would like to know is:
1. Do they like alot of attention given to them?
2. Is it a good idea for him to come to me or should I make the first move?
3. What would be the best approach in getting their attention? Should I ignore them to make them notice or what. I am at a total loss. Any help would be appreciated.

If you want attention..do absolutley nothing! Its a killer sometimes, but he?ll come after you like a hungy dog! And when does, well act all "whatever, you know, im kinda busy all year". Then, he?s all yours.
I can't speak for an aqua male, but I am an aqua female who dated a gemini guy. He was and is still is one of my best friends. He's always in a good mood, and he's one of the few out there in this world that doesn't mind my odd ball behavior. Only issue that I had with him was the timing of it, and his attachment to me. (I think that I hurt him but it was unintentional on my part.)
Anyhow here is what I would do. You are both airsigns which means that there can be a lighthearted banter. You are very capable of it without getting all needy and emotional. Treat him as your best friend in the world; then add some hugs. Let him figure out that you are the best thing in his life. You have to even be willingly to let him admire other girls; let him see you harmless chat up guys.
Geminis and aquas are alot alike from what I could tell. And it has to be an intellectual liking first and foremost since we're air. But even if you two end up as friends only, it can be alot of fun just hanging out.

Thanks for the advice. I am doing just as mentioned. Keeping in contact but not really acting like I am interested. Adding the hugs and kisses etc... to show there is interest there. So will see what happens. It's hard though cause of my nature to really show alot of affection and attention when I really like someone but I am holding back cause I think he is worth the effort. Astrologically Geminis and Aquariuses are supposed to be the soul mate connections. Gemini's need someone to keep up with them and so do aquarius. Don't take it so seriously though that your whole life depends on the guy. Charm him simply be being true to yourself. Point out the pretty girl in the room to him.

Well I left him alone as everyone suggested. Got on with my life. Said Hi every once in a while, if I saw him online would say hi and leave it at that.
In Feb, I sent him a card for his birthday. Nothing more. Then the other day, I was out and saw him in a place where I was at. Made like I didn't notice he was there and low and behold next thing I know there he is standing there saying hi. LOL You know what was even funnier?? he acted like no time has passed at all. No explaination on the total silence for the last few months. Blew me away. I just acted the same, like its good to see you, how u been yadda yadda yadda. Well now he is all over me like a wet blanket. Wants to meet up with me, even acted like he was jealous cause I was speaking to someone the night I saw him. I did tell him that I do have a life and that we have not been in contact for several months and what did he expect. lol I am totally shocked at this. I am defiently interested in getting with this guy so what to do what to do. Any suggestions at this point? I am on new ground here and not sure what my next thing would be. Well the other night when I saw him, we chatted for a while, he asked for my phone number and if I was still on the net, LOL. Had to laff at this one like who is not on the net these days. I said yes Im still on the net and on the same chat program, gave him my phone number again. I told him to give me a call sometime and we could get together for dinner or drinks. He said he would be calling. I then returned to the people I was with and gave him no other attention that night. I did notice he was watching me from the other side of the room.
Now, I have to tell you that I was online and he was there and I ignored him didn't say a word. The next day when I was online again, he messaged me and was just as chatty as anything. We talked for a alittle while and then I told him I had dinner plans and had to go. So I figured I am going to leave it up to him. You all are right he will have to do the work here if he wants to go out with me. I am not going to chase him, I figured that much out with him. That is about where it stands today. Just sitting and waiting. Wonder if he will call or just go about his business, who knows at this point. I have to tell you all that he is an older aqua, in his 40's if that makes a difference or not. He has never been married, no kids, nothing. I know he has had 2 other serious relationships but thats about it.
Ive read alot about the aqua personalities and when they get older they start thinking of settling down and all. Being a Gemini I know the art of being fickle so its up to him really. What do you all think??

Yes he had said thank you for the card when we spoke. I remember him saying that his last relationship had been I think about 2 years ago.
