How do yall feel about surprises?

I want to buy tickets to something my bf really likes, but I want to tell him to keep the day open that I'm taking him somewhere, tease him beforehand and then surprise him the day of the event. It's not for a special occasion, I just want to do this for him. The teasing will be fun (for me anyway). What do yall think? Good idea or bad?

Well, I'm not that into surprises to be honest (when I'm on the receiving end). Too much Cap in my chart, including my Venus conjunct Saturn, ugh. Where's his?

His venus is cap, moon virgo. Not sure right now about the conjuncts.

I went ahead and told him I wanted to take him somewhere he would like. Teased him a bit. He was intrigued. But, since his kid has activities I figured I better make sure they could go, before I spend money. So I told him where. He's happy!
