I need a little understanding!!!!

Hello all! I am new and came across this site like everyone else that needed Aqua help. Ok so here are the stats, I kind of don't know what all of it means but hopefully someone can tell me.

So when I met him we had an instant connection, but he lives far from me and I see him every 3 to 4 months for 10 days at a time. From the beginning, 2 years ago we have gotten along great. But about 6 months ago he said he only wanted to be friends because we were both messing around on the side and he said I shouldn't be doing that to my bf (we were in the middle of breaking up) I said that was fine, then we still talked like friends until I went back last month and told him I was single. I was a little upset and ignored him and of course he came running but I held out till my last day there and finally gave in. Both of us are now single and I kind of want to see where this will go.
Friends of his ask if we are back together and I don't know what to tell people. Is it ok to ask him what I should tell these friends. I am so afraid of being rejected and him saying we were never together. He scares the crap out of me emotionally because I can tell he likes me but he won't admit it. I am very confident but I hate being rejected, especially since I am always on top in relationships. I am very good at being in control and seducing and this guy makes me want to stop everything and give him full control. He's constantly telling me I need to watch what I say because I'm so use to men just following along and he puts up with none of it.
This site made me realize just how complicated Aquas are but I don't want to give up at all, in fact I know I'm in for the long haul, I even am moving closer to him this summer. I just don't know how to approach him about being his girlfriend. My feelings would be seriously hurt if I brought it up and he did a typical Aqua thing of making some off the wall statement just to see if it bothered me. I am the type to never bring it up again. I want him sooooo bad though it's ridiculous!!!
So, my question is how can I approach him and get a straight answer, I'm so used to walking on eggshells around him. But now I really want to be his girlfriend.
When I've asked in the past if he liked me, he said no. I told him he was full of shyt and he laughed. I am lost!!

let him know with being as direct as you can, honesty and straight talking im sure would be appreciated. dont be dissapointed if he does'nt react straight away cos there is good chance he wont, and if he does'nt, he definately will later! once you have told him, leave him to it cos the ball will be in his court.

Bijou- Yeah I know not to get emotional, even if I do, I can't even talk. I'll just walk away instead. He says things that are so straight forward and I have no response, so I just keep quiet and look at him. The conversations usually over even before it began. smile
I am not dramatic at all, probably the sag in me.
Lovely-His friends know that he is pretty much unapproachable on the subject because he doesn't answer that type of stuff when being asked. Instead they come to me just to be nosy. I was just trying to word it like that to see what he says.
There hasn't been any drama with us at all, I just don't live by him. Now I'm actually trying to move closer for easier access.
The fact that he doesn't do anything I want turns me on completely! I have never met anyone like that. He has so much control, I think it's funny because it seems like there is a war going on in his mind. I can see him fighting temptation, usually I'm pretty good at swaying guys to do what I want, he trys to do the opposite.
He actually likes when I'm a little sarcastic, because I'm so direct and don't beat around the bush.
He is pretty stubborn though, but he's also pretty fair. If he knows I really want something he'll go with it.
Oh and believe me, I would give up before I got desperate smile I am too confident and cute Winking to give in to desperation. My pride wouldn't let me do it either.

I hope so, I just hope I can stay patient. I don't even really talk about sex with him outside of the bedroom. This site gave me the courage to try to see how a conversation would turn out. I thought he was conservative. lol. Hopefully he's a true Aqua and likes a variety of things- The Scorpio in my Venus is calling out to him. Just as long as I don't come on to him first right Winking Hey I can ignore his but all day if the outcome is to my liking. lol
It's so sad that I'm trying to use this site to manipulate him to see things my way. lol
