Is It Worth It

Okay so I have avoided relationships for most of my child hood and adult life, atleast one on one relationships and I'm beginning to remember why I never felt compelled to connect with just one person at a time on an emotional level.

I'm beginning to wonder if its really beneficial for Aqua's to develop in this area of our lives.

I hear so many women (especially) rant/vent how difficult we are, I hear men say how they seem to be drawn to us but they are unable to connect with us in some deeper emotional level and this makes me wonder why do people even bother with us.

Is it a challenge? What draws you in because we aren't the easiest sign to deal with but yet we are because it only takes patience to find out how loving, loyal and trust worthy we are.

I personally am questioning if I should even attempt to continue to be in one on one relationships anymore at this point in my life, i find it to be tedious and emotionally redundant.

Nothing seems easy for us, we seem to be so misunderstood and the funny thing about us (Aquas) is that we love so much but yet no one seems to see it and if they do see it, they can't believe it and if they can't believe it they dismiss us.

I wonder what is it that keeps people intrigued with one of the most difficult signs in the zodiac.

Do any of you (Aquas) feel like giving up on one on one relationships?

I know you asked for Aquas to respond but the Aries in me wants to be first! j/k

First of all, I do not think that Aquas are the most difficult sign nor do I think any sign is difficult. Remember, our thoughts create our reality. If one thinks they are difficult, they will be and for them to be right - they will create situations for them to say...."see, I am difficult!"

Aquas are an air sign - you peeps are thinkers so you live more from your head than your heart. I read somewhere awhile ago that an Aquas lesson is to learn how to combine the mind with the heart and come more from their heart.

I know LOTS of Aquas and none of them are in relationships and when they are, they are long distance relationships (usually a sign of emotional unavailabiltiy unless the relationship was grounded before the distance occured) - they have said the same as you. They recall their past and make their judgements from those experiences rather than beginning with a new day and new thoughts.

Anyone truly can have what they desire...all it takes is focusing from your heart.

Oh....and to answer your question, "Is it worth it?"

Well in order to give up, that means i'd have to actually commit someday....

no not giving up. I have yet to commit, which is why I'm not able to give up...I've never taken the 'leap', so to speak.

Besides I dont think I would give up...I tend to have some optimism with matters such as these...funny, im a natural born skeptic and pessimist. 😛

I know exactly what you mean Freebird, I know that Aquas live in there heads or live by there thoughts so to speak and we must truly learn to combine our mental emotions with our emotional emotions from the heart but this is not an easy journey for us.

There is so much chaos that comes with this shift, people seem to be more afraid to be in our presence or atleast my presence when they sense this deep connection...this can be so frustrating because I don't feel like people truly FEEL me. Their is a disconnect between myself and others and I'm not sure why.

I know I can't be the only one that feels this disconnect.
