I would like to alert everyone that not all Aqua's are bad. I'm sorry that the majority of aquarians make the rest of us look bad. So here's my advice to the rest of my same sign brethren. We might be straight forward and to the point people. We might dislike people who aren't strong. BUT THAT IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR YOU AS A AQUA WHO TELLS IT LIKE IT IS TO HURT WITH VERBAL ABUSIVE WORDS OTHER PEOPLE. That is a form of bullying and I don't like that, at all. I can tell you whatever I need to say without slicing you with my ratchet tongue. I've learned a valuable lesson from how my words one time almost cause someone to hurt themselves. As an intellectual, and one who seeks to learn form her mistakes I've learned how to speak volumes with quiet non hurtful words. I wish for others to do the same. It is you idiots who need to feel like you have to conform to what astrologists say we are. We are truly whatever we want to be with some extra characteristics.

I only get along with one Aquarius gf in real life, and I've mentioned about her here before.

Besides, why do have to believe what astrologers say? That we're supposed to get along? Isn't that FAKE?

When I first read what astrologers say, I thought to myself...this is WRONG....something is "up"...
so i had to dig...and while I am still clueless and naive about stuff, not everyone is going get along.
I dont try and PRETEND to get along with others in real life if they piss me off, but i'll keep quiet about it. There's a time and place for that.

I think Aquas are awesome. Even the most unevolved ones can be entertaining. Personally, I am kind of immune to the Aqua "slice and dice" because I am a pretty strong Aries. Yet, I don't like it when I see them do it to other people. And I have been known to step in, whenever I see it happening. One well fire-ball by a strong Aries can send an unevolved Aqua packing.

grudge holders? Wouldnt that depend if they had a dominant "fixed" chart since we're talking astrology.

Wow to the last two comments. Again I have been on the receiving end and the giving end. My former spouse is an Aqua as am I. He hates my guts til this day. I am simply over it because we have kids. On the other hand I've held grudges so long that it literally made my reactions to others who were in the cross fires of my rage feel awful. It takes seeing, acknowledging, and trying to fix the issue. I prayed a ton. I've gotten a lot better. I can sort of pick and chose when to flip out instead of flipping out at every situation. Let me also say I have never met anyone who can calm me down or hurt me worse than my wrath, rage, or words hurts them. I like that you take up for others, that's a great qual to have. It also seems that you haven't met the extreme aqua. I think aqua's hurt more when people walk away and don't respond especially the ones we love.

Well, forgiveness is great, and i love that feeling. There's a feeling of upliftedness, and less restriction. But, sadly there's no going back. It's a place where you have shed an old skin, filled with accumulated dirt that's been stacking up from the negativity. Then you release it, but never going back to that place again.

Of course we make mistakes, have flaws & don't always do the right thing. My question is, who on earth put us up to the job of being flawless?

There is NOT one negative flaw an Aquarian has that other people of different signs don't also have too.

There is no such thing as "Aquas are the only ones who are verbally abusive" or Aquas are the only ones who are grudge-holding.

There is no such thing as 1 particular sign has a bad rep. Just b/c the majority of Aquas you may have dated or been friends with may have had 1 flaw in common, doesn't mean that everybody else's experiences with Aquarians are the same.

This is so weird but amusing at the same time. Was this a public rant about yourself in particular or? To tell it straight isn't the same as bullying as far as I'm concerned. There comes times for softened words vs harsh words and who's to say who made the right decision. Not you, nor me, words come out and history is written.

I find the Aquas here to be all quite genuine and easy going. We voice our opinions for sure but never in a bad way (well maybe sometimes) unless I missed a post somewhere. The Bad rep isn't something we uphold, I doubt anyone want to don negative attributes so what drives you to create a post about it is really my question, seems sorta odd that's all.

Obviously we share a commonality in us all having aqua suns. Look around you, your friends, family, colleagues, strangers. There are Aquas I don't get a long with there are ones I adore generally. For example grudges is something I'm not capable of or at least prolonged sessions of it. It is physically and mentally draining on my entire essence and I'd rather not hold grudges besides by thinking it through logically you can usually end up at a happy medium.

I'll also add perception of reality in here. Most of the time when people post about issues it's usually their perception of the events that occurred which may be coloured with their own emotions for whatever reason and purpose I think everyone does this subconsciously as a mild form of persuasion to solidify their story.

So the bad things about aquas may be just that, bad things. Or it might be a slightly distorted view, it's hard to say really when everything it impersonal and anonymous. Be interesting to have an internal discussion again about that but how we react as aquas are generally so diverse across the board that we can't pin point anything. Maybe the good stuff people say are also distorted and they were being manipulated, who knows.

And capricorns aren't always cold-hearted!!!! We can be given the right circumstance, but truthfully, we have big ole puppy dog hearts. There. I feel better. lol!!!

I think you're onto something. Everyone does have their own perceptions. Like, have you ever talked to three different people who witnessed a traffic accident? They each have their own different verson of what happened.

You guys are nicer and more tolerant of those who post on here than some of the other boards. At least, that's my perception of this board. 🙂

Here we go. Auqanoz I read and see some of the points you make. But you yourself wrote in your post (well maybe sometimes) when aquas voice our op's. Now I was all prepared to let you have it. It seems to me instead of reading the post you read between the lines, and that's why you are curious to know finding it odd. Let me say THERE IS NO BITCHASSNESS HERE. IF AND WHEN I WANT TO SAY SOMETHING TO SOMEONE WHO HAS OFFENDED ME I WILL SAY IT TO THEM AND NOT MAKE A POSTING IN THIS FORUM FOR OTHERS TO JUMP ON MY BANDWAGON. Now in the two posts before someone questioned my motives I said in other posts that I have read. Meaning I read posts that said it. Also astrologists sites meaning I've read this time and time again on different websites. Yes they paint a beautiful picture of us but then the picture gets ugly. No this is not a post about myself. If you took the time to troll around as I have because if I make any point BEST BELIEVE I CAN BACK IT UP WITH FACTUAL EVIDENCE FROM MORE THAN 1 SOURCE WHO IS CREDIBLE. Daring greatly, I just want to poke my nose in here and say that I like Aquas, and I think that you are being a tad hard on yourselves. Yeah, you can be blunt, but that's not unusual for the Fixed Signs as a group.

The only time I have ever had an Aqua say something intended to be hurtful to me it was literally incomprehensible (a Scorp moon-fueled melt down).

Most of the Aquas I have known have been pleasingly eccentric. I don't always know where you're coming from (or going to), but you're funny as all get out. I know people say that we fish are spacey, but we're still back in the Mercury Program compared to some of you folks. I mean damn! We've got capsules. You have inter-galactic star cruisers! I'm jealous.

And as far as loyalty goes . . . well. As I told one of you, one day Li'l Gem (daughter) was very, very seriously injured. I only remember two calls that I made as I was racing to the Emergency Room. One was to . . . another Sign. I got some platitudes. The other was to an Aqua. Her first words, almost before I'd finished speaking? "I'm on my way to the hospital!" I will never forget that. I think what others are trying to say is that 1, even if we're not really being too blunt or taking it too far, an overly-sensitive person might think we did as opposed to someone whose not overly-sensitive, therefore a lot depends on perception

And two, being verbally abusive, rude, etc. is not just limited to Aquarians nor is being honest.

When an Aquarian is taking it too far, it's not an "Aquarian" thing. It's a "that specific person" thing. And there's a difference.

Long story short: I believe that some signs are more of some things than the other but when it comes to abuse, I don't think any 1 sign is more prone to it than the other. Someone's ability to abuse others goes far beyond astrology

My question was directed at the OP's reasoning behind this post because it was contradictory... apologies if it sounded offensive op, yet the more I read the more of an impression I get is all of us are in a discussion, I have not sensed any hostility from anyone else except you.

You are not my spokesperson, you are not one to make a decision that we are the way we are because of an astrological website. You have no permission from any of us to apologise for traits we don't relate to. "As an intellectual" your reading material I fear have been tainted by the fact you only search for the negatives and I'm sure you'd find as many pleasant experiences as you would find the bad.

I think that's it, my understanding with our sign has more or less evolved and astrology in general. Aquarius folks can certainly fall under the bad column as the op said but there's also ones which really touch your heart.

One thing most people fail to realise when they begin a post in a forum like this seems to be their limited knowledge and attach themselves to the sun sign which I was trying to correct.
