my crazy gemini friend with her crazy aqua male.

I think my Gem friend is crazy. She is so hell bent on getting married. I just got off the phone with her and she told me this pilot who she has been seeing for awhile, long distance style (he lives in Dallas and she flies there every other weekend) set up an account at a jewelry store for wedding rings. Back at Christmas, they set a wedding date for the summer of 2007 (after only knowing each other for a few months) with an informal engagement. She wants a very larege wedding with horses and crap. you get the picture. But now, she has 46-yr old Aqua guy who she used to be engaged to (he is 46, she is 25)who also lives in Dallas in which she went through a painful breakup where she had to be ?hospitalized? who has been calling her like crazy and claiming he wants to marry her. Right now, he is on his third marriage to a lesbian photographer. Melanie says she is actually in love with this guy more than the pilot, but her family hates him because he told them that he was dying of a brain tumor in order to get attention. (not sure what that was about) Anyway, so she tells me that unless the Aqua comes up with another engagement ring she will marry the pilot guy and will continue with her plan to move out to there this summer. IN the meantime, the pilot has no idea about this other guy and how quick she will dump him if he comes up with an engagement ring. Either way, she tells me, she will be married to either one of these guys. I told her (not that she listens) that she is creating bad Karma for herself by doing this. Sick, huh?

i am also kind of irritated (and this is petty and irrational) as to why a normal, attractive levelheaded person such as myself is still single and why she has two men lined up wanted to marry her. THis kinds of confirms my idea that men like psychos better that normal women becuase they offer then excitement.

can't expect people to be sane is what I decided to think in terms of things like this,its not my problem is what it amounts to haha.
