NO arguing with an aquarius, you won't win.

Me very aquarius...you have just described the female version of me - how I act when provoked!!!:-)
First off, I will banter back a bit....if I am not getting my way or having the last word!!, then it' simply the ice-maiden cometh....I turn to stone, retreat, retreat, retreat and never surrender....that's the name of the game.....if someone has hurt me by what they have said, I won't necessarily tell them then and there (that will come later, when I have thought things through in my head and regrouped). While this regrouping in going on though, it's freezer-zone time....guy, person, could offer me the world and I would look disdainfully through their eyes...they try to cuddle and make up....I turn to an unemotional snowman/woman!!!:-) and will squirm away from them...(Talk about rejection!!!) - the good thing about aquarius people though is that they just don't/can't hold grudges for long...life is too short....so for 10-15 minutes at the most!! I will be oh so cold and unreachable and then (revenge time:-), I will start to talk about what the argument was over.......the other person gets involved again!!!!! I repeat, repeat, repeat.....and have the last word and then say something silly like...well if you want to kiss me now, you can!!! They ususally do:-)
However, if you don't want to appear too door-matish all the time to your guy, when the argument is on, simply ignore the aquarian............don't try to fuss or make up......silence, remove yourself from the room even and go do your bits and bobs, as you know! nobody but nobody ignores an aquarian!!!...he will come trotting after you....pretending to look for somethings blah blah and you've snared him again:-)

I'm in a BEAUTIFUL relationship with an aq, except when i unknowingly piss him off!!! argh! so frustrating. i seem to make comments totally not directed at him but maaan he takes them to heart and shuts down emotionally. THEEEEEEN after losing myself scrambling for the problem of this sudden mood change, he decides to be direct and argue about it. To my shock, he is upset over the tiniest little comment i sarcastically made. (we have a GREAT time together, great humor) But i never know what to say or what not to say.
Ok so my question is this....how should aq's be handled when they get hurt? when they get angry? Do they need space? He seems to love it when i fall all over him to fix his mood...but really, is this what he wants? Will he lose respect for me if i seem to not stand up for myself? ugh, help!!!!
