Hey guys.
Sex.
What does it mean to Aquas?
Sure it's fun, but does it mean more? Do you share intimate moments only with those you love, or do you sow those wild oats freely? Especially at an older age?
And after you have an amazing connection with someone, (even someone you've been in a relationship with for over a year) do you need your space after?
Is it normal to stay away from that person immediately after, for a couple days?

Being an Aquarius I tend to want it to all be a learning experience. Learn things about my partner that no-one else would probably ever know. I kinda get off on the fact that I know something the world doesn't. Being a third decan Aquarian though, makes me more emotionally connected than I'd care to be. So I tend not to just sleep with whomever but regardless of who they are to me I do need some space afterwards especially if it was really deep and passionate. I had a fwb "relationship" where after sex I would just disappear and honestly he wasn't for it.. he hated it and ended it pretty quickly lol.

I dont need space after, I love cuddles. I do need space from a person frequently, but not then. I dont think there have been many times I've felt emotional during...maybe two or three times in my life that I've felt a true intimacy with someone. It gets really weird when someone else is clearly feeling sappy. I'll look the other person in the eye the whole time, but its not because I'm feeling a connection, its because I'm trying to read them. Him thinking its me catching feels is usually a nice bonus, because I have a really hard time expressing when I like someone as more than a temporary fling.

like AM, i dont want to have any intimacy with anyone that i dont feel it for. Believe me, there's alot of gross guys out there and they chase alot of women!!! You have to beat them away with a big stick.

The stuff I read paints a picture that Aquas are playas, cheaters and people who sleep around. But it doesn't seem like Aquas are sex- crazed or on the hunt in my opinion.
I asked because my Aqua guy gets so energized after he claxes- he feels like he needs to run. I'm a cuddled, so it's frustrating- but after the_eleventh_sign_11 commented about hot sheets and wanted to get into cold air- it makes me feel it's just his nature - I mean- I have seen him jog after!!!
Also, the ladies here make sense that if you want to open up to someone - sex should be just as precious.
Oh boy, it sure takes a lot of self esteem to be with an aqua. You must be sure of your own self. I've learned another new thing.

I have aquarius moon. I can be detached with sex and I want you all to myself, if i meet someone compatible with me I love to have sex with that one person. I can't share. AquaMermaid, I agree. There are many facets that make up a person, not just their sun sign.
But in regards to the ego, the sun, I wanted to know what sex meant to them. Not the actual act (mars) or whats attractive (Venus) just what the "me" in sex is to Aquas.
It's not just the act of sex. My Aqua will say anything but "I want to have sex with you" because it's an ego thing. There's a means to be rejected, so he will say other things that elude to sex where he can wiggle out if rejected.
But I'm always game (Aries sun) My ego doesn't see rejection, I see a challenge
Mostly I am interested in the space issue, because it fascinates me, although it is really, really frustrating when you are on the receiving end. I do need space sometimes, as does the world. With humans as a whole, like cuddling after sex, it's more of a chemical reaction. Not all Aquas need that, from what I read on this thread. It is really hard for me to watch him leave, get up, turn off. So, of course, it makes me question just what is he after.
But then he will say things that surprise me and make me feel incredibly loved. Without him saying it at all...

Did you have memory loss after coming so much?" It's vulgar, evasive, and unemotional, but I felt so loved after that comment. We're from two very different cultures, so he said "I tell you what, when I get the chance, I will tell it to you in every language." Been on cloud nine ever since, and he didn't even say "I love you." Frankly, if he did, it would have felt very flat.

AquaMermaid, thank you so much for your touching kind words. It really is quite a comfort getting this information from real-live Aquas with no judgements and no bias. And I get a deeper look at what makes most Aquas tick. I always felt it was unfair the way they label Aquas as emotionless and detached. I know there is a depth with Aquas, I could always see it. People are so quick to take the outer layer and stop there.
With my Aqua guy, He seems so grateful when he says something touching or emotional and I make a little joke about it, like I push away the heaviness. But the heaviness is there, just like every other human. He just can't let it poke out.

Lisa is not bad or crazy.She is just set in her ways and has very strong opinions.There is nothing wrong with that.She has even disagreed with me a few times but I understand where she's coming from.She's one of the few females here on DXP who has integrity and is absolutely loyal to her spouse.I admire her devotion for her SO.And for that reason alone I like her a lot.But to each their own.
