I have scorpio sun and leo ascendent

She has Aqua/Capricorn sun (cusp)

We both have capricorn moon

Can this work?

Anyone had any previous scorpio/aqua relationships?

Is difficult...has a 2 year relationship with an Aqua. Was beautiful in the beginning, before I saw her detachment coming in...and then it was jsut waiting to be over. Loved her very dearly but we were 2 stubborn signs living on compromises.

I know a very happily married couple with children. She's an aqua; he's a scorpio. They argued ALOT at first when they first married. In fact they almost divorced. But the marriage counselor suggested that they make time for themselves everyday and unwind. So they have a glass of wine and chill out every night after the children go to bed (when no children the glasses of wine and unwinding time was easier of course.) But they are very happy together now and very devoted to each other.

As an aquarius who grew up with scorpios and whose male friends are often these scorpio fellows, I can't think of a sign that I respect more often than not. And besides the conversations are often intriguing and no holds bar types

my bf's birthday was on the 21st...

actually, i just had him come over to my place and i cooked him dinner...filet, crab legs, baked potatoes, veggies...crab legs are his favorite, so that is why i made them for him. i am kind of broke right now b/c i hav etwo out of town wedding to attend in the next couple months that i am saving up for...so, i couldn't get him anything crazy! but he loves when i cook and he really appreciated what i did for him!!!

unusualcancer- that is a very true statement above, however, cancers can be very controlling as well...in a more subtle, diplomatic manner...in the end, they can be more controlling than scorps

your point? o_O Sweetie, saying that cancers are worse than you are doesn't excuse yourself for treating Aquas the way you do.

whoa...kick back...i think you guys missed the point. i was merely trying to state an observation, not imply that it was an excuse for scorps to react in that manner. I agree with unusualcancer's assessment as i said it was true.

reiniba- where did i state that i treat aquas in that manner? By agreeing with unusualcancer's assessment does not imply i treat aquas or other people in that manner.

I find scorpios tend to be controlling and manipulative in a much more calculating and pathological way than cancers are. Cancers wil do it because their emotions are driving them to do it. Where as with scorpios it's a battle of their will over yours and for them theirs must win over. You can talk over whatever the matter is with a scorpio, say for example that you only like them as a friend and hope they can understand this, they will acknowledge this and say yeah everything's cool, and they they will proceed to behave and do things that indicate quite clearly that they are very much not cool with the way things are between and will cause you hassle whenever you are with them so that things go their way. And afterwards when you talk it over with them again they will outright deny that they were doing anything underhanded and that they are cool about it all.

But manipulators like this need to realise that they don't get what they want when they go about things in this way because the person that they are trying to control cannot respect someone who is not respecting what they are saying to them so even if the person still hangs around with them, they are beginning to despise this person.

That's very true. This was what attracted to me to a scropio male (I'm aqua/cap cusp). He could read my mind. But I guess he wasn't an Eagle/Phoenix cause he used that against me and manipulated my mind. I know that we both communicate differently, cause he wants to continue to play mind games, but I just can't handle this so I'm just blocking him out. It hurts too much.
But this is what I don't understand when they say that scorpio men are serious in relationships when they play with other peoples' hearts and they they complain they can't find true love.

When you're being played by a manipulator you will always only be regarded as a character in their game. They don't think of you outside of this context.
