I find with myself that , questioning is a form of conversation, trying to get to know the other person in depth. Trying to know WHAT I want to know, I dont want useless info I dont need, so by questioning I get the answers I want from what I want to know...no time wasted. Why must i wait for you to devulge info (on your time) when I have NOW and all the right questions to get to know what I want to know about you. What say you? Lol

Lisa, whats your point? I'm not talking about other people asking questions about a particular sign, I'm not even talking about other signs...I'm talking about aquarians and why they like to ask people questions. Questions about anything, let me add. I've read posts about aquas on this site, they seem to always answer whatever topic is posted & end their comment with a question of their own, either to the OP or to other users. I've seen it in real life too...aquas love to ask people questions.

AE, Yeah I agree curiosity is part of it, but with myself it has nothing to do with relating. And to be clear, I'm not talking about questions relating to other signs, I'm talking about random questions about anything. I find this trait highlighted in the aquas here and those I know in real life. Example, a poster posts something about whatever and happens to mention that they are from UK. An aqua would answer the post and may end up asking "where in UK are you from? I've been to bla bla bla" That kind of thing. They never stick to the topic discussed lol, they ask other things unrelated to the topic.

this isn't EXCLUSIVELY for "aquas"

I've seen it everywhere, with every person in every birthday.

Lisa, I've posted it here, IN THE AQUARIUS FORUM...DEAL WITH IT! I'm asking THEM (aquas), dont care about the other signs and I dont remember saying anything about EXCLUSITIVITY either. Other signs ask things that are done by everybody if they can pin it to their sign and I think different people have different motivations for doing the same thing done by everybody. This time I'm asking aquarians.

AG, Have you ever been told that you ask a lot of questions? I've been told that a lot and I dont understand it because how else am I supposed to know things I wanna know without posing some questions. How do other people talk then if questioning is sort of wrong?
I have never been told about that.
It might be because i tend to not really chatty, irl.
I don't think theres anything wrong with questioning over something.
Thats a part of the communication. Nothing wrong with it, imo.
But maybe its just about how the way we asking that question, depends of how effective, efficient, polite, etc it is. Some people maybe find it intimidating or annoying and the other people find it interesting then enjoying the ideas they're exchanging.
Imo. We can't control anybody's opinion about us or about any question or any ideas we have, but at least we can respect it.
And another part of it is listening or in this internet forum known as reading what another people trying to explain to us. Not only just asking and asking and asking without willing to listen.
And hopefuly there would be a good understanding in the end of the communication then.

Incidentally, why is it that Aquarians have such an symbolic affinity with water?

The signs are everywhere "Aqua", even in usernames "aquaglass" "WaterCup" and yet you're an Air sign. For the longest time, when I was younger, I used to believe Aquarius was a water sign.

Why would they place so much ambiguity into the zodiac like this? Why?
Lol tizi! I wondering about it too, i have no idea why is it tho. I used to think that theres any corelation with the water sign, thats why i was so sure that everything would be good everytime i interacting with cancer or scorpio, but lately i figured out that theres proly nothing to do with it, i meant with that symbol. Lol

Well Seraph posted a video by Alyssa and it's a view I sort of agree with. We are the waterbearers we bring water to those that have none. For me that includes questioning and being the best at what we do which is communicating... understanding and challenging ideas we bring out emotions, the bad and the good.

I ask questions all the time because I love to learn, I like to question myself and others. For a fixed sign it's very versatile in its way of thinking but stubborn in the actual process.

What I do notice is Aquas ask very ambiguous answers, I swear I do this myself or maybe it's just me. It's just that I would like a better idea of what the majority thing and why? If there is a minority then why? Everything seems to be in a constant state of question until there's some fundamental point of truth which hardly exists half the time.

I chalk it down to us wanting to work out something and the chase for some ultimate answer.

And Tiz, aquarius is an unpredictable sign so why not an unpredictable symbol...you see water but get air, its fitting the description. The water, like others said, its the water of knowledge, the water that detoxes the old way of thinking and bringing forth the new & clearer.

Btw, whats the difference in the thought process of the 3 air sign? I've been curious about this too

Uh huh, watercup.
I'm not really chatty, some people even call me ms. Cold. Lol
But i'll really talkative with people i know that they're fun to talk, then bomb! I would be all silly and witty and all. But, yeah quite selective at first.
Seems like i have the same thing like your cousin.
My bday is feb 2.
Aqua sun, taurus moon, gemini rising, capricorn venus and way too many capricorns on my chart. Phew. How bout that?

Tiz, I dont believe you can get to know another person until you know yourself 1st & foremost. EVERYTHING STARTS @ HOME. Example, you cant love until you love yourself. You cant point fingers until you check out yourself first. That kind of thing. How is it possible to know another when you have no clue of who you are yourself? Constant change, the gem kind, is a sign of not knowing what you want and sticking with choices you make. People who know who they are and know what they want dont change. They go for what they want and stick with it. Or make a decision & stick with it.

AG, Yeah I agree lol, they love to gossip and deny it when confronted. Its funny to watch. Maybe they should inform both twins when they gossip so that they dont look strange when confronted. The "who? Me?" is not working, makes them look crazy especially when everybody else remembers exactly what was said. My sister acts confused too in the face of her gossip victims. Its hilarious.

My they are good at judging two faced snake ass behavior then since some are like that to begin with. Seeing me in you kinda thing. What do you mean you cant know people in the dark? Whats light for? And you can only see things in the dark when you yourself are in there with them, which proves my point that, you cant recognize what you dont know. Mirror effect- see me in you

ET, thats what I'm talking about, "the right questions" to whats needed(to be known)...I said that too. I'm not a good listener thou, I pretend to listen and ONLY pay attention to what interests me, the rest is "whawhawhawha" and I listen on cue too...just about when the most interesting this is being said *shrugs*

It seems my gf disagree's with my statement iam a good listener. She thinks I only hear the important parts. I disagree how what i know what was important if I wasnt listening. So with that logic I assert that you dear watercup are a good listener how else would you know when to pay attention.

I have a gem sister btw, not saying all are like that, but she is good at entertaining people on surface levels, never too deep to the point of really knowing somebody. Others may chime in but I still dont agree that gems can read people lol. They are too all over the place for that kind of thing

I disagree to a small degree. They read people better than all but lack the depth to know that person. Aquas want to learn and know the person below the surface. Also aquas can move past gems reading folks. we have to work at it by practicing. And we love our lab rats.

They're fun, really.
They could entertain people, interesting and light.
I can say that i'd like to add geminis to hang out with, they could make it even in a real boring situation.
I have this circle that theres libra, cancer, aries, gemini, pisces, and me as aqua.
And yeah gemini and pisces are sick! They're hilarious. Libra love em damn much, makes him cry laughing.
My geminis folks seems sanguinist.
And i can agree that they aren't a deep thinker.

BSC, I've read that aquas have intuition, dont know where I saw it but I'm positive I saw it mentioned somewhere. I'll search it

I definitely have intuition, even some uncanny abilities I have seen and felt in my life so far. Whether or not I have ever trusted my intuition is a whole other story.

Aspects to Neptune and Pluto are also important. My Moon is in Virgo, but it's sextile Pluto and trine Neptune. Typical Virgo Moon? Not so much.

BSC, if gem is all about thought, then whats libra & aqua all about?

They are all about thought. But Gemini surpasses both when it comes to thought processes and learning. What they lack, however, is focus and depth.

Libras are the best when it comes to finding a middle ground. They can make sense of two opposing ideas.

Aquarius is more about fixed ideas and ideals. We take pride in our way of thinking.
