Why do you HIDE your comments

If you have something to say-or you took the time to type it out-WTH not post it? What are you afraid of? Or at the very least let the person who you replied to have a chance to read it.

I can see that, but sometimes I msg the person and it is something they did not say before. WEIRD!
No, I mean I go to see who commented and it is blank. The person "hides" their comment.
I then send them a private message and they tell me what they said. They just chose to HIDE it.
What I am saying is this-why post if you are going to hide it?!?!?!!?!?

for me, it's not a matter of being afraid cuz wut i hide is followed by the same comment i initially wrote. im a perfectionist so if i see something misspelled or something ill hide it & re-post it w/ correct spelling that's all. that's understandable to me, but for anyone who hides their comment w/o anything following it then yeah it is weird...
