It's the fixed nature of you WH. If you were a cardinal or a mutable perhaps you would let the mismatching nature of your fitted sheets pass.

I don't use fitted sheets. I use 2 flat sheets, with a set of clamps that keep the bottom sheet snug against the mattress. Plus, I buy only 600 count or higher thread count....much softer against the skin!
