You have a brain...why don't you use it?

I'm only 20, but boy have I met some strange people in my life. I'm a very observant person, so I try to befriend a couple of them just to see why they act this way. They tend to say a lot of things, but don't mean what they say.
For instance, many people hate it when you tell them something they don't want to hear. Why is that? Is it because they're that insecure about their beliefs that they get angry? You have a brain...USE IT! Anger isn't gonna solve anything. I'm soo proud to be an Aquarius, I have the very rare and useful ablilty to understand EVERYTHING even if it's against what I believe in, and stay calm while I'm at it. I sit there and watch them get angry with me because I refuse to agree, and it's real funny to me. Then they start to criticise you, just so they can feel good about their insecurities.
Does anyone understand why people are angry? Can anyone tell me why people are soo...insecure? Has anyone stopped to realise this? I think this is a major flaw in human nature...and it's truly a sad sight to see if you're a victim of a critical, insecure person.
If I'm insecure about something, I don't blow off any negative energy on anyone else. I get angry, but it's only because it is truly needed. I always say to myself "I lose if I get angry" so I keep my cool, and take the logical path out of my situation...please, I really need some opinions...I turned my head to my Aquarians thinking I could get a straight answer...
Have you ever thought that blowing someone off just because you heard something you didn't want to HEAR, but you knew was true, was totally right? I believe that it is the insecurities (most of the time) that angers certain people.
You got mad at them, not because they said it, it's because they've exposed you...and you took offence to it. Why get mad? Talk it out, maybe what you believe in isn't really the truth. People need to learn that you're not always right, and don't let pride prevent you from the obvious truth...what do you think?
Aquaaqi, what I mean is...people are afraid of other peoples opinions, and instead of talking it out with peace, they'd rather get mad and argue, and even criticise you! Why is this...my conclusion is that they are insecure in their beliefs. I can say something that is COMPLETELY against what you believe in, and you wind up taking offence to it. That's what I mean.
Observation and befriendment of the crazies is my hobby.
"That's what I think anyway. Why, did you run across this today?"
Actually aquaaqi, yes I did...way too many times.
Let me give you a typical senario...
I talk trash a lot in basketball. I end up getting into a small argument with one of my friends in who's better than who and we will settle it in a 3 game one on one. I flat out beat him, but he begins to create all these false excuses on why he lost, then he begins to critisize me, trying to sway the crowd when the truth was obvious. I didn't do anything but laugh at him, and this really burned him. I lose to people, just like him, but instead of crying about it, I decide to get back on my horse and ride harder...
To me, anger is a very embarassing way to deal with most things. I want to learn, and anger isn't going to make anything better, it's only going to cloud judgement. Yes, I do feel anger burning through my vanes, but I need more information...and (in my opinion) anger isn't the way to SOLVE things, it's better used to MAKE somebody believe in what YOU believe in...and that's not what I'm about. I want both of us to reach the truth togeather in peace.
By the way, thanks a lot aquaaqi. I was soo stuck on one conclusion when it comes to anger (Insecurity) that I got a little blinded. I always ask questions; I do believe that you aren't going to get any smarter if you don't reach for what you want.
"Observation and befriendment of the crazies is my hobby"
Lady M...LOL!!! Yes, it's that I can learn something from them. I don't want to ignorantly classify them as strange or odd people, I want to know that drive that makes them that way...you get me?
You have a brain... why don't you use it?
- lol I've thought of this so many times... when observing OTHERS I might be just as bad hahahaha
Emotions definitely get in the way but I think with a self-concious effort to put things in perspective you get better with time... anger anger anger though, that one is very very tricky
!!!! *deep breath* !!!
