I have a Taurus Venus and an Aries sun so I may be able to help. With the Aries sun, sometimes we can get excited about certain people, whether it's friends or romantic interests one minute, and then the next minute not as much.
The energy and excitement for my attachments to people can fluctuate, but majority of the time it doesn't dissipate completely; especially with my Taurus Venus. Granted, Venusian placements like a Taurus Venus can gain admiration from a harem at times lol but a Taurus Venus will remember you, and generally have some sort of attachment to you. I can certainly pop in and out sometimes, if I'm unsure of your intentions. So that could be why.
I am a woman, so that could create more attachment than it would for a man, but thought I'd share from those perspectives.

You're welcome. Taurus Venus is just very careful. We love romance, affection and bonds in general. But if any lines are blurred, the Taurus Venus will be wary of the connection and how much of ourselves we give to that person. Not accusing you of anything, just take that into account.

I want to say an Aries wouldn't do this. Especially Aries sun, moon, and mercury. I've never outright ignored someone unless I really did not give 2 shits about them. But Cancer placements tend to operate like that. Everything on their terms. And if they get even the slightest hint of proof that you're entertaining someone else while they're in the picture...they will poof into a cloud of dust. Their egos can't take it. When they've licked their wounds for a while they'll peek their heads back out and see what you have to say. If it's any direct questions "Do you want to get to know me?" or anything like that, it will be ignored. They operate in such a indirect way. It's maddening.

If you are upset over getting sex every 3 months then fwb isn't right for you. Especially if you want consistent ongoing sex. Which is a lot of time to give someone who is just a bootycall. That works for me also, but only if I am interested in the guy. Otherwise, I could care less and I would only make contact if I was bored at the moment.

My nephew is an Aries and the girl he is currently chasing is a Sagittarius. I have never seen him chase anyone like he chases her. I think it's pathetic because she treats him like crap. No. Its just that he is wayyyyy to cardinal and in n out pf his feelings. Hes possessive yet tells my friends he feels trapped.
