Aries supervisors and bosses

This is my first post on this board. My mom is an Aries and while she could be a meany sometimes, I love her to pieces!
Well here is my question...for those of you Rams that have been in a supervisory position or management what is it in a worker that you love to see? I ask because this summer I had an internship with a company and it was about a month. I'd say in my opinion I worked really hard (there was a potential to get hired on after said internship is over). Well turns out my site supervisor is an Aries (I only know this because of his myspace) anyway, he had me doing a special project for him my entire internship. Well turns out he liked my work so much he recommended me for a position and it happened so fast that I went through the interviews and hiring process within a week of my last day of my internship. But here is the crazy part I was NOT expecting, he even went so far as to sit me down and tell me what the interview questions were so I could really think about my answers. He basically walked me through the interview and what would be asked of me and how I should act. I have never had anybody help me out like this before. Is this something an Aries would normally do for someone? I will tell you that for the most part when I got to work I'd pretty much stay on task and do what was told of me everyday without any direction from anybody, but I've always been that way. I also really wanted the job too.

I once had a male Aries Supervisor who I respect to this day. He did the same thing that your Aries supervisor did. He gave me so much help with interviewing and with marketing myself. I had just gotten through a rough time in my life and he was a fresh breath of air who helped me believe in myself again.
He had a Virgo moon, too, and was so damn critical and could say the harshest things. But luckily, I take criticism well and see criticism as a way to improve myself. He always admired my work and always had wonderful things to say about me. So in criticizing me, I think it was his way to make me improve.

Wow our stories sound almost identical, I also have been having it pretty rough right now and my confidence had been slowly building back up and a part of it was his praise of my work. I'm not sure of what his moon is, but I know he keeps it real. There was another female who was close to finishing her internship and when he did her evaluation he gave her a 4 for appearance, she was kind of upset about it, but he explained it as nobody's appearance being "perfect". So when it came time to do my evaluation I already knew what he was going to give me lol. Some people just can't handle the bluntness of an Aries but I love it. I look very forward to working with him.

I've done the same thing in a supervisory capacity. I had a team of about 8 working under me, and although I loved them all and watched out for all of them, I had a favorite. She was the one I would go to with all my big projects that needed to be done right. I also gave her the questions for her review ahead of time and helped her fill out her review packet. I have since left the company, and hand picked her to take on my old position.
An Aries respects a good work ethic and appreciates people they can trust to get the job done right and don't have to micromanage. They also appreciate loyalty. If this describes you, then I can see why the Aries went out of his way to help.

Well the funny part is he didn't know what my work ethic was when I first started. He put me on this project because I essentially was the only intern who wasn't busy, lol. They only had to show me how to do what I needed to do once and I was pretty much on my way. He was planning on putting other interns on the project but when he saw how well I did on my own, he made it all mine. Which I was very happy with because I had a pace I liked to work at and someone else would have slowed me down. I think I also impressed him because they were only expecting me to get 500 of the items done but I got over a 1000 done. What helped too I think was that I sent him an email during my last week thanking him for being open to new ideas and always answering my questions. I also basically told him that if the opportunity ever presented itself again to work with him I'd do it in a heartbeat. Which is true, because he was nice to work for and I liked that he didn't always stand over my shoulder and let me do my thing.
Aries boss is impatience, hot-tempered, kind, aggressive...
Yes, they are welcome and helpful for those who are willing to learn things (since they like to learn things, and they think it's good if everyone does the same). They are very exciting in new project, even if it's hard to do. You will see that they are very good at what they are doing because when they do, they do it with passion.
All about impatience, you have do the work fast (like running) and perfect. They don't expect you to be super perfect. If you think you are not good or slow, show them that you are trying very hard. They will be understanding and help you out.
If they think you are not good, slow and not trying hard enough, they will lose patience. Maybe, they will said "stop what you are doing right now. I can make it done in 5 minutes!"
When they give you the work, you have their trust. But be sure to tell them if there is any problem, because once they give you work, they leave you alone. They only come and ask when it's deadline.
And one more thing, when they teach you something, they only teach once time. Please ask them explain more if you don't completely understand. And try to learn it at that time. They don't have patience to teach you again and again one thing.
Your position are not safe even if you think you are close to Aries boss. If they think you are weak performance, they will let you go.
I like to see in individuals that they are trying. I can NEVER EVER fault someone for showing that they are trying. And I don't mean like pulling their hair out trying, just that I see that they have notes taken or able to speak up about their current work or even ask questions about it.
Everyone puts work off or does something shady so they can get an early Friday off or whatever, but trying to undermine authority or going out of your way that shows you really don't care about anything you are working on really pisses me off. So outside of that I cant say anything but high praise for anyone just coming in and being themselves and trying to enjoy and trying to work at their job as best as can be (not perfectly).
I can see how anybody in a boss role might like that perfect worker on their team, but I guess I am way more laid back and tend to put all the stress on myself so others don't have to.
As far as Aries women at work, I tend to see them taking care of business on their own and just making sure they are doing their best, I haven't had an Aries boss but I would imagine so much better for me than all the other bosses I ever had that were impossible to work with.
I remember having this very conversation though with the gals I work with, their senior manager is an Aries and they were put off with some of the things he would do, but all and all I recommended that they chill out and relax and just know he is a nurturing dude and not out to get anyone ever.
I am Aries and a boss??_if I see potential w ppl I will go out of my way to help them??_
I would even cover for them when I know they did something that they shouldn??t..
But if I see that someone tries to take advantage of me then hell has no furry..
