Ok, so I'm a 23 year old Aries female in love with a 20 year old cancer man. I know he's not ready to pursue anything serious with me but he does visit me and he has taken me out on a date. I text him and he usually responds, but sometimes it takes him forever! And sometimes he will respond to a few texts and then stop. That irks me and I don't send him 20 texts a day so I know I'm not being over barring and I hope I'm not coming off as needy by texting him almost everyday. I usually just say hi or tell him to have a good day at work then wait for a response but it gets on my nerves when he takes 2-4 hours to respond to me and only give me one or two word responses. I guess I'm just being an attention whore, but sometimes I wonder if seeing someone else. We did date for two years and I broke it off because I felt he was cold and I knew he was talking to other women. I'm trying to take things slow but it's hard. I did tell him via text how I felt and he said he didn't know how to respond at the moment and I told him that's ok. He does seem to like spending time with me and he does open up from time to time, so I still have hope. But at times I feel it can't work and I'm afraid of scaring him off, i can be a little intense with my emotions especially love and anger. So what can I do to encourage him to have a serious relationship with me? Should I just wait and try to be patient?
