from the sound of it, he's done you a favour but as for being friends - he's not even capable of that imo. you need to cut him out and concentrate on yourself and this new life inside you. don't ever think that a child will make him reconsider a relationship because even the strongest of relationships come under strain when children appear on the scene.
i know it must seem bleak for you and i send you a hug from across the water. build a wall between you and the outside world while you look inside yourself for the answers to your dilemma. only you know what is the right thing to do.
