Just wanted to take this opportunity to share with the DXP community what I have learned/experienced. Perhaps some of these beliefs/truths will help alleviate/provide guidance to those that continue to struggle with their own inner battles.
1. I believe/know that those who try to control have not learned to let go and listen to what the world has to say.
2. I believe/know that those who lose faith, lose themselves.
3. I believe/know it is better to light a candle, than curse the dark.
4. I believe/know that those who second guess themselves, will not only second guess you and everyone else, but never really believed what they felt/saw/experienced for themselves.
5. I believe in unconditional love
6. I believe/know that unconditional love can be learned, when we learn our own ignorance and let go.
7. I believe/know that unconditional love starts with Friendship.
8. I believe/know that those who purposly impose their OWN emotions/feelings/thoughts on others, are afraid of their OWN truch (truth about themselves)
9. I believe/know that happiness start with yourSELF
10. I believe/know that those who are unhappy in their relationships are unhappy with themselves
11. I believe/know that change, starts with yourSELF
12. I believe/know that K7 has rubbed off on me Tongue
13. I believe/know that ignorance is NOT always bliss
14. I believe/know that true friends, do not poke where it hurts.
15. And my favorite....I believe/know that those who only know what "is NOT" don't know "what IS"
My favourites especially number 1

I believe you are very young and know very little of what you speak of. You're parroting sound bites that never hold up against reality.
For example, there is no such thing as unconditional love. It's bullshit pander to those who have never loved. I love someone who makes me feel good. If you abuse me emotionally or physically or mistreat me by cheating or disrespecting me, I ain't loving you no more. Winking People love those who make them feel good. Unless you're as equally fucked up as your 'unconditional love'. Just read the boards for two minutes and you'll see. "I do this and he/she doesn't....waaaaaaaah!" You forget there are personal Hitlers out there, regular spawns of hell that are unleashed unto the world in charming, attractive skins whose sole purpose ranges from creating minor discomforting mischief to taking you to the darkest depths of evil.
I know number three.

Something bad happened in your life. I get that. It changed your perspective for the time being. People who love and love freely without a sense of caution aren't bad or stupid people. People who turn every outpouring of kindness or positive feelings into some platform to show how bitter they are, well they are the ones I can't seem to tolerate.
I see some truth in what you are trying to say donna88, but as far as the whole, "are you very young thing" seems to go for you as well. I am happy to hear you have your own and very assertive views on the world, but when you get to being positive minded and all gushy one day, I at least know you won't even remember how you shat on this moment.
Don't ever shit on an Aries good-natured feelings.
@ Donna88,
Just as you are entitled to your beliefs ("I believe you are very young") I am entitled to mine. smile Your post comes across as impuslive and without thought. I am sorry if you were hurt in the past......I'm sure we ALL were in some way or another, but I do not carry around negative emotions. My intention was only to share what I have learned in the game we call life.
And while you bring up an interesting point about the "Hitlers" of this world, that does not mean that you have to let those people bring you down and influence your outlook on life. To me, unconditional love means loving/accepting others as they ARE (meaning not wanting to change them). It does NOT mean (to me) that I have to ACCEPT the actions of those who wish to "creating minor discomforting mischief to taking you to the darkest depths of evil." as you say.
I understand your disgust with those who "whaaaa" we all have lessons to learn, but that is no reason to try and bring down those that wish to share good natured intentions.

Thanks smile
@heroric guy and Archimedes, so you both agree with me.
You both say there are conditions in love so why attack me for what I said? The young comment was perhaps better put as not having much experience.
If I had a kid that committed horrible crimes, I'd still love them but would turn them in to the police to pay society's dues and stop them from further destruction.
In a relationship, if I was treated badly, I'd end it, even if I loved them because I want a positive, life-affirming relationship and have that to give.
I am an Aries and accused quite often of being too cheerful and Pollyanna - like. However, not everyone operates on this level. Fantasy rarely meets reality so the approach to relationships must include not letting your brain fly out of the window in order to hold onto a belief. A good, positive relationship comes out of accepting your own faults as well as your partners but be discerning enough to separate minor issues from destructive, soul killing ones.
The definition of unconditional love: Unconditional love is a term that means to love someone regardless of the loved one's qualities or actions. The paradigm of unconditional love is a mother's love for her newborn.

I fell off the believe/know train at 8 got back on at 13 and fell back off at 15. Next time i'm catching a plane.
Let me condense what I got out of that:
1. If you control you can't learn.
2. If you second guess you can't experience passion.
3. If you don't work you can't appreciate happiness.
4. You can't unconditionally love, unless you are unconditionally loved.
5. Happiness is letting go and learning to love.
