Perhaps they feel vulnerable and the feeling that they may lose leads to erratic behavior...A self-defense mechanism kinda. I think what they need the most is constant care and reassurance so that they can put their fears to rest. If they can surmount this mental block and evolve , no goal will be too far.

As far as career puruits, I am the tall, strong, broad shouldered type, but I don't neccessarily want to engage in intelectual persuits, unless becoming a soldier, protective security specialist, then SWAT cop is intellectual. Yet again, sometimes you have to think before you shoot. If I ever get good enough, I wouldn't mind being a tactical firearms instructor, if you want to call that intellectual. It's teaching afterall.
