i was recently in introduced to this Aries guy, we were in different cities so we established contact through phone, texts etc, exchanging pictures, flirting happened then a close friendship developed, he officially put me as his gf on fb, with all his endless friends etc to see, we still hadn't met, but, but he had made endless plans for us to get together and maybe go back to his apartment, now I'd recently gained weight about which I had told him, and he said he didn't care but he'd like me to get back in shape asap - yesterday i came back to town and we went out for a movie - it was really really awkward - he met me very casually - didn't even hold my hand - we just awkwardly headed towards the movie hall - I got extremely conscious about myself - made random chit chat - saw the movie and he seemed very shifty - in the middle of the movie he got a call from home that everyone was locked out - he had keys, so we just left as soon as the movie got over

However the moment I reached home, he called and apologized about what had happened - and sounded extremely romantic and he said it was indeed awkward and he just wasn't sure about what to do - he texted in the afternoon today that we should meet up soon again

now i'm confused and scared what if when we meet again it might be extremely awkward again 😢 are Arians shy? should I make the first move next time - like just reach for his hand or smthn? or did he just get turned off seeing me?

Shy, nervous, whatever! WE ARIES ARE JUST AS HUMAN as EVERYONE Else!

I don't know how old you are, but seriously everyone especially at a younger age are nervous and not sure if the other person is in to them etc etc.

You sound like you are doing fine, and I bet he is just as nervous about will you still be interested.

Just take a breath, enjoy the butterflies and let it be. Respect yourself not to take any crap from anybody you date. If you don't like what you happens you walk away, promise me that ; )

Yes Aries can be shy I can be and so can the other Aries I know. We are most comfy around people we trust and that we know care for us unconditionally which are very few people. Remember the ram is also a sheep. I think I am more physical in showing my love and affection and dont think id feel comfy writing love notes or poems. I even have terrible anxiety when revealing how I feel through regular convo. I hope I can be be more open with my feelings with whomever I choose to love in the future.

Oh and what happen to heroic guy he was so nice.

I'll be sincere to you. I don't think you are what he imagined you would be.
And I don't believe you "recently gained weight". It was something he didn't like about you that made him act that way.
