I would have said "No thanks to dessert, I'm already sweet enough...but you can take me on a real date."
he'll either say yes or suggest something a little more lowkey like coffee to talk more in person first.

I met my Aries bf online. We chatted about a lot of things, nothing of sexual nature and about a week in I was telling him one day I had a terrible toothache. He told me I should put ginger on my tooth, and he could bring me some because I live next to his workplace.
I went outside, met with him, thanked him for his kind gesture and suggested we walked to his workplace, since he only made the detour to meet with me. It was the least I could do. He stopped in front of the building and said "so...would you like to go out for a drink sometime?", I replied with "Sure, I'd like that" and two days later we had our first date.
They are really straightforward about their intentions so don't settle for anything confusing like meeting him at his place off the bat before having a few dates.

Damn that's good. Are you available for consultation lol
Lol I wouldn't give me too much credit, but you can be very direct with us. I can't express how much we appreciate that. Aries might not cater to you like earth signs but they do like to feel useful. Damnata's story reminded me when I first met my Virgo ex. I gave him bronchitis (we shared a drink) and I asked him if he wanted me to bring him chicken noodle soup. He said NO! lol luckily I wore him down...we won't be detered if we're really interested.
