Aries what do you have in your arsenal - literally or figuratively speaking?
I'm dealing in the literal. I was given a matching sawed-off shotgun and machete with the most beautiful carvings of flowers on them as a wedding present many years ago. I still have the machete and I bought a new shotgun.
But, the main reason I post this is because I want to join the gun club at my job. There's a sign-up roster going around for a competition. I am an excellent shooter. However, the amazement of men at my abilities, the always the girl in a pack of men, and I look very feminine, etc. is something I always have to overcome. I am not in law enforcement or anything. It's purely recreational.
Anyway, Aries what do you have in your arsenal - literally or figuratively speaking?

Sounds fun u got the advantage of surprise Winking not expecting a hot chic good with guns!

LOL! That's what makes me so hesitant.
I'm trying to type it all out so, I can get over it.
Wow this is hot I am like fanning myself after reading it.
Pump shotguns are sexy. I have a mossberg 12ga. Its nothing extravagant but its dependable. I like mossberg for that...quality but affordable. Do you have a pistol? Pistol comps are by far the most fun from my experience! Rock that shit girl..dont let men intimidate you! I love seeing fellow women shot. I feel like we are more accurate bc we actually listen to advice lol.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm not a gun connoisseur. I'm not name-brandy... I did a little research and choose. I just asked for a pistol grip, pump action... I like the heavy metal and being one solid color - black all over. I'm just a shooter. I save my targets from the range. Put it in my hands. I like shotguns and rifles the most. I'm fond of a 38 revolvers. It's my favorite hand gun. I like skeet shooting. I took it in P.E. along with archery. When a man asks me where I want to go for a date, I choose the range.
I have to do what I like. It's my life. I've gotta be me. (Now, I will repeat in sleep and sign-up)
lol feby youd get better as you go. It takes practice like anything. I think its good you do what you like va..If youre honest with yourself about what you want youll always eventually get it.

I don't have it anymore but my favorite was a .380. It was like it was made for my hand. Winking

My carry is a .380. Love it.
I have too many to list. My favorite is my 1955 S&W 38 special. The engraving is beautiful. I like to shoot the saiga 223.
As far as being looked at differently because you're a female.. If you go there and act like a ditz, that's how you'll be treated. And a range isn't this place to be like that. If you're serious and want to join, be serious about it, then, you'll be taken seriously. Go for it if it interests you... If you don't have experience I suggest some lessons and a safety course first.
I'd love to go to a shooting range Sad
I love bows but I'm not good with them. I can throw knives but not well enough to do one of those stunts where you ask a person to sit next to a wood frame and then throw knives around them. But if it would be my Cap Ex I'd be tempted to..because I know I'd fail Big Grin.
Anyway, I love weapons in general. I love medieval weaponry, when I visit a museum like that I always take a lot of photos.
I wish we were still in the Middle Ages and I'd learn to wield a sword.
