Air/Fire sign friendships

I'm a Scorpio woman. Is it just me or Scorpios tend to get along better with fire signs as friends? I feel like I have more fun with fire signs. Air signs have a little more patience, but they can get passive and of course need plenty more space. I guess it's a different story when you're in a committed relationship though.
