Aquarius Rising;Strong Opinions and Alienation

I am : Sun in Taurus, Moon in Pisces, and more importantly, Aquarius Rising. I feel deeply connected to my Aquarius Rising; in everything I've read, I have felt speaks directly to me. I came across this recently, and feel it is so accurate:
"You form your own opinions, but once you do form them, you then want to convince everyone else that they are correct. Try to be more tolerant of the opinions of others."

Unfortunately, this is so true for me, and I don't know if i like it. i feel like I'm constantly posting things on Facebook, asking people to sign this petition, or read this article about poverty and the economy, etc, and NO ONE CARES. Hardly anyone will talk/respond/like. It honestly makes me a little mad that others don't care about the world around them as much as they care about themselves.
Are there any other Aquarius Risings (or even just Aquarius in your other positions) that feel alienated by your peers because of your strong opinions?
I've felt that my presence is noticed no matter where I went ^^' My saturn is also in aquarius, but so were my peer's saturn at the time lmao so yay x).Blend with yourself in your heart. This is something accomplished by yourself.
Don't try to prove your worthiness or righteousness to yourself through other people.
Naturally, we care for others. But trust in yourself that you are right. You are your leader.
Anyway, I have enjoyed looking at this thread.
"Naturally, we care for others. But trust in yourself that you are right. You are your leader."- I LOVE this.
I too am Saturn in Aquarius! Does that make us extra Aquarius-y? lol

Sweet! I appreciate your appreciation QwQ ??_3 Thank you ^^
and perhaps xD
Saturn in Aquarius- Maybe it means that there's a reward to our "weirdness" xD hahaha. I love weirdness. We paint outside the box :3
I am an Aquarius sun and man, I feel like I am different from the rest in many ways. No wonder, you feel somewhat like that.
Now, I have embraced that I am unique and different in thought processes and everything. I don't question or ask people to be like me or accept me for who I am. If people want they will, else who cares.
Embrace your uniqueness and don't force people (includes looking for comments and likes in fb smile). Am sure you will find people who care about some causes very soon! smile
I have Saturn in Aquarius too!!
Your saturn definitely has to do with your strong opinions....saturn in the first...in aquarius. It means strong opinions about humanity - and difficulties, delays, obligations, restrictions in this regard. So people not listening, feeling like youre getting nowhere is perfectly coherent with this placement.
Good news is, after your saturn return, around age 30, things will go much smoother, you'll find a concrete way to get others on board and caring about your plight. smile
Im a cancer rising, aquarius venus myself, i love to focus on intellectual matters regarding society and people, but i dont really try to make people adhere to anything. I either dont see the point or feel that its no use. Cancer desperation...

Here you Aqua Risers

When I was younger I was a bit like this but growing up i really change and now it's the opposite and I know I can'T be right all the time and it can be a waste of time . I hate cynical/ too egocentric and even hypocrite people , i am tolerant but i can'T stand these kind of person .
Yeah, I really just need to get over the fact that most people aren't gonna give a damn about Native American rights, even if they're native themselves(just one example).
I feel like I need to find more people like me to talk to in person, online is so entirely different. I understand some people feel they don't have to convince people of their opinions. However in my mind, it is our duty as human beings to do what we can to help make others lives around us better. In doing so, we empower our selves and lift up the people we care about as well. Lol, but that's the idealist in me. I wonder if that's an Aquarius trait too? Either way, thanks for the responses so far guys. I like knowing that there are others a bit like me.

Ur welcome smile
I know what it feels like ..pretty much a trait of an aquarius
I feel you flapperlife!
But I don't really identify with my Aquarius Rising or Sun... or even Mars or Uranus. I feel more like a Cap sometimes. I have Mercury, Jupiter, and Neptune in Cap in the 12th but I have Saturn in Pisces in the 1st. Saturn in the 1st gives me a very stoic, judgmental appearance lol.
Sometimes, I feel like I identify with my Sag Moon or Aries Venus before any of my Aqua placements! It's most likely because I have Uranus in the 12th, so all of that energy is hidden away.
I do understand how you feel, though. I have extremely strong opinions, very active and involved with politics, and it truly surprises me how little people my age care about ANYTHING. I think my heavy Cap/Saturn placements also make me feel older than I actually am, and I've always felt that way. It's always been hard for me to hang out with people my age for an extended period of time because I genuinely don't give a shit about half the things they talk about.
I also feel like I don't experience emotions the same way others do... like there's this entire realm of feelings and sentiments that I'm completely unaware of lmao. While everyone else is crying over something, I just sit there awkward af. That might have to do with my Sag Moon, though.
I usually feel like the odd person out because I am not motivated by what usually gets people going. I am perfectly OK with never having kids or getting married. That's the tip of the iceberg. I am not easily swayed by people when it comes to important things. My Virgo gf told me that when we first met (at work), she was bad mouthing our manager and I said: "I see, but I'm going to wait and make up my own mind about her". Thankfully I have a lot of Libra so it keeps me polite and not bitchy I hope smile
I care deeply about many things (justice, fairness, respect, and kindness), but petty little squabbles over what I think is insignificant is of no interest to me and I'm easy going when it comes to those. I am terrible at small talk and don't use social media.
Flapperlife, if you want to chat, PM me smile
