Are Leo Ascendants Selfish?

I was wondering because I have a friend that can be very selfish sometimes.. and he doesn't even realize that he is doing this. He is a Libra Sun Gemini Moon Leo Ascendant. Lol and once I confront him about it he feels bad about it like really bad lol.
I am Pisces sun Leo Asc and I can whole heartedly attest that we are NOT selfish (at all). I do have a bad temper but I am quick to apologize. I am bossy but that's only because I want the best for everyone and my lion ego always thinks it knows what that is lol.
I dated a scorpio with leo rising and he was very giving and very seflish at the same time!

I'm a Leo Rising and I always make the effort to be kind to others and listen. I've never been called selfish or even thought that of myself, I would be hurt if someone called me selfish.

I m extremely generous to my family and close friends only....Ans I would donate to a cause or homeless on the streets.
True about appearance, everything has to be presentable even if its just getting groceries at a nearby store.
When I was younger I can be impatient and display my emotions when upset, I do control myself better now or more like my tolerance has increased.
At times I am surprise by how dramatic i can be, and somehow I always find the courage for presentations or getting on stage, never tongue tied in such situations and infact I quite enjoy it.....

Not at all, we are too damn kind, add my Pisces sun and I just find myself being overtly nice because I really want to be liked and I like to be nice sigh.

I think my Leo rising causes me to be overly giving. But, I'll admit when I feel neglected or rejected, I tend to sulk and get overly dramatic about it. I think that emotional reaction comes from my cancer sun/pisces moon moreso than the ascendant leo itself. But the leo rising does enjoy a healthy dose of attention and I hate to come 2nd to anybody or anything. Not to say I'm a sore loser, but I know I could do better and be the best for myself which in turns makes me the best. But no, I wouldn't call us selfish at all. Overly generous, giving, and willing to spoil those we love with gifts and extravaganza.

I'm Sag with asc in Leo but have never felt selfish. Quite the contrary, all my friends come to me with their problems (moon in Cancer) and I just want them to feel good! I love when people are happy and having fun in general so I'm highly aware of blabbering about myself... I don't like that. I don't really appreciate that in others either.
I'm not sure what constellation might make a person selfish but I've often found it to be Leo Sun's themselves? Hm. And Libra actually, though not as 'in your face' as Leo Sun. And sometimes my Scorpio friends loooove to talk about their issues. Bit tiring.
