Um there is nothing wrong with being a libra ascendant...we see both sides to everything so in some cases we could be considered very fortunate...Libra ascendant cancer here!

Libra ascendants usually have a beautiful-graceful-vibe to them, they see both sides of every situation, can put themselves in others shoes so I think it's a rather lucky and successful placement

Wow, that video was rather spot on. When I don't like a person I just shut down and don't talk to them...I pretend that they don't exist, I think it unnerves people. We have an annoying neighbor that do this to, everytime we see her she needs to tell us what were doing wrong (it's a condo with rules, we rent thankfully) I just don't enga ge her, she thinks I'm weird but i let her know I'm on to her bs and I'm not playing her game...she's a meddling old woman I'm an Aries/Pisces cusp sun sign. I don't like socializing because it is tiring, I like to deal with one person at a time. I can be very charming and flirty to get what I want as well. And I do have a well enough hidden darkside. I'm also very wishy washy. I'm always worried I will make the wrong decision and be stuck with something I don't like. Just random tid bits

Video is only 60% true for me. I have no problem with people disliking me or saying, "No.". But yes, often people feel a connection with me and want to be my friend before I even have a connection with them.

I thought this was attributed to my Venus in Gemini.... Hmmm definitely not the fake variety though and definitely don't have a problem with disharmony. I like to tackle miscommunication head on or dust it off my shoulder. Not losing sleep over it that's for sure.

Yeah, I'm confused. I'm a Sun Taurus/Venus and a Leo Moon with a Libra Asc and I'm not sure I know anything about being a Libra. I feel totally Taurus and fight my Leo Moon.

I felt oddly compelled to check this thread after I had similar thoughts except I'm a double Cap and sort of get the Sag side of me but I don't get my Libra Asc. I have a very poor perception of how others perceive me and the way I perceive others may be the way they perceive me. If that didn't make sense, then that's how I feel about my public behavior and people's reception of me.

I feel the same way. I almost feel like I am supposed to be blocked with regards to how I perceive and am perceived by others. Many trials and observations lead me to believe I am almost always wrong about the perception. Even though I am not most inquisitive person about others. I do remember reading something similar to this in a chart. I can't remember the aspect though.

I'm quite okay with my Libra Rising, I like to be charming but while I strive for harmony, If I feel passionately about something being disharmonious is not something I avoid, I rather enjoy just getting discomforting conversations out of the way, but in a tactful logical manner, and due to my Pisces sun I try to use empathy.

Hahaha that video is about 80% spot on as far as Im concerned. We just know how to charm people 😄

I love my Libra rising, it makes a nice dynamic in my chart with my Venus/Mars in Leo conjunction, so that means Im more decisive and confrontational than your average Libra riser.

And dont forget, the ascendant is at home in Libra. We fuckin rule.

I dont think im a Charmer .. Most of my best friends told me that i look strict, not friendly, and class, some see me as not easygoing When they first saw me.. which is so different in my inside..

and the people i know....They are so strange. they talk about me and comment good things about me but when im with them , they hide it from me. i feel like im invisible..

MY Venus is in taurus.. someone said my eyes looks like a dreamy languish and looks like of venus.. but i noticed that when i smile or laugh at something , people around me is acting different like they dont smile and some feels comfortable. it bothers me how i look in other's eye .. and i really want to know it.

My moon and sun is in cancer and im feminine , i dont like it.. im weak and easily get sick.

I'm a Capricorn with a Libra Rising. Yeah, shy-cappy meets bold and outgoing libra. I often feel like a split personality because one side of me is very shy, but when outgoing-flirty libra takes over, my cappy side just cringes in embarrassment! LOL!

Alyssa's video made me so giddy. She hit it on the nose. This is me to the core.

First time watching any Alyssa Thorpe video. She's entertaining to say the least. The whole video describes how I come off to people from what I heard. I am big on relationships and how I interact with people. I want to be liked; yet I think my Cancer Sun shines through a little bit and makes me back off for fear of rejection.

I do like the whole descendant sign explanation. I do feel that way. I'm starting to let my shadow in cause I definitely need alone time to regroup.

Question: Does anybody know what a Sun square Ascendant means when it comes to finding love and a job?

I have my moon and rising sign in Libra but I do not identify with a lot of core characteristics of the scales, definitely not what the lady says in the video other than that I retreat and need alone time quite a bit ,but not for the reasons she mentions. I'm definitely not very charismatic. I do not collect friends. In fact I'm pretty bad at networking and making contact with people. I don't feel like I'm only giving and never receiving. I'm giving because I like to take care and do things for the people I care and love. It makes me feel good too. I receive automatically by giving. Not receiving as much back never bothered me. I also do not feel bad about needing my space.

As for the main question, I'm not sure whether it's a bad or a good thing to be a Libra rinsing. I think most position are neutral in nature but will be received by other people differently and give or take to those with those positions depending on how the energy is channeled.

Soo...I just found out I am a Libra rising... which makes a lot more sense lol. Sun in Taurus, moon in Libra as well, a whole lot of Venus. I can definitely relate to not knowing how to interact with others and a lot of points she made in the video. Rather just spend time with close friends, but I do know a lot of people and get along with most that I meet. Don't like confrontations or dealing with ugly/messy things at all (includes paperwork...hate paperwork). I Just want to kickback, relax n chill all day, listen too good music, have good conversation with good company, have a few drinks, most definitely a blunt and stargaze at nightfall. My aim in life is for peace, stability, and love.

Remember people..Libra is where the rising is supposed to be, so count your blessings 😉

I think we're pretty sexy. Besides, we have charm, we natuarally know how to sooth talk, we're smooth. I've nearly never failed to get who I want at the time. I love my libra rising.

That video is spot on. I'm a Virgo with a libra rising and I definitely feel worn out sometimes after talking to so many people. And it's so true that people seem to automatically be drawn to me and feel connected to me, but I don't feel the same... That's kinda weird lol.

Interesting. My husband is Virgo sun Libra rising and says the exact same thing. He doesn't understand why everyone and their mother are drawn to him. He appears very friendly and approachable!

im a Libra rising in Vedic astrology (sidereal) so I guess my karmic lesson is to find balance

I didn't know much about Rising/Ascendant signs, but mine is in Libra and I found this to be only sort of accurate for me.

I don't relate to the friend collecting...maybe men. With friends I am loyal and discerning. I totally have a sense of guilt when I need isolation though. I'm not exactly sure why, I just feel like I "should" be doing something else whenever I am taking space from the world.

I hate confrontation for sure though.
