Virgo Ascendants

I have been doing a little bit of research into Virgo Ascendants and thought i would share some of the interesting things i came across that i have not read else where before. I have this placement and have to agree with each of these points. Most are taken from the book Rising Signs by Sasha Fenton and also a few different videos i have watched on youtube today.
- Early experiences - When asked in a research questionnaire if they would have their childhood again all virgo risers replied 'no definitely not'.
- Libra in the second house, the person may have been born into chaos, looking to find/bring balance to their family life. Calculate how they are going to restore balance to the family, smooth over emotional extremes etc. Bring beauty and harmony to the family.
- You are usually smartly dressed, up-to-date but with your own sense of style , usually unconventional and creative.
- Scorpio in the 3rd house, communication and writing ability. When they write they write with deep feeling. Emotions can be more easily expressed through writing. (This point was like a light bulb for me. So true!!)
- Pisces in the 7th house, lean towards intellectual/intelligent partners. Spiritual partners. As pisces is an isolated sign about the other realm this means that their partner can be a bit of an odd personality, normal people might find this partner weird or awkward. (This one is really spot on, all the men i have been drawn to are eccentric)
- It is common for a virgo rising subject to have a good relationship with their mother but a more difficult one with their father.
- Your parents expected you to do well at school, behave perfectly and maintain a position at the top of the class at all times.
- Your outer manner is polite, formal and a little guarded at first but when you relax and feel comfortable you soon warm up and become very open and friendly. You may be shy and find new social situations to be very daunting. You prefer to let others do the talking while you assess the situation first. When you are at ease you can then talk the hind leg off a donkey but even then you prefer to not monologue and impose your thoughts on others.

- Hahah thought i would do this next one as a direct quote, its too well written to just give the gist of "You are saved from being a complete stuffed-shirt or a self-righteous bore by your habit of unfaithfulness" (Fenton, S, 1989, p.100) Also "Love, sex and relating - this area of your life has all the appearance of a first-class mine field" (p.104)
- Considering the associated modesty and fastidiousness of this sign you have a strong, needy and inventive sex drive. You may enjoy your private mental action replays as much as your enjoyed the first hand experience.
- You may be funny about food. May be vegetarian or a simply choosy about what you eat.
- You need to spend time alone to think and relax. You may take up a sport because you think it will be good for you but may ultimately find it boring because you enjoy mental stimulation more than physical. (Actually i think this one is spot on. I tried for years to put time aside to exercise but i found it so draining, and it felt like a waste of time. Now i exercise in short bursts and find that it keeps my body just as lean/toned but without the mental void. So do 30 push-ups while waiting for the kettle to boil. Do leg stretches while reading emails. etc)

Hmm interesting. What ways do you experience your virgo ascendant?
Just read this:
"This Ascendant runs the risk of criticizing and undermining a lover because he truly wants perfection."
I seem to come across this sentiment time and again in relation to virgo ascendants. I disagree with it but its amazing how often it comes up in researching this placement.
I feel like my virgo ascendant really makes me aware that perfection cannot really be achieved. I also find that because i am very self-critical i am so different with the people around me. No critical at all.

I feel like my virgo ascendant really makes me aware that perfection cannot really be achieved. I also find that because i am very self-critical i am so different with the people around me. No critical at all.
It's all pretty spot on except the fact that I despise my mother; the alcoholic b1tch! I am also not "funny" with food and I don't like to hang around people that are. Everything else is true: I cheat, I am self-righteous, I dress to impress with my own quirky style and I have an overly active brain and most importantly: I do not talk just to talk. I can't deal with surface-dwelling so I prefer to be quiet if that is where conversation is heading. And I get bored, quickly.
i am not critical at all, with other people, that is. with myself, well it's another story, i criticise, obessess and punish myself. i get bored easily, sometimes i question if im not the one that's boring. i write things down, whatever i feel i write it down, exactly when im feeling it, its my way of dealing with it.

I have a question regards the allergies, is there any virgo ascendant who has no allergy?
Is there someone who can be a slob instead of neat and tidy around you? Love all kind of foods?
Also that you guys was a unstylish?
It sounds a bit atypical way, but i'm very curious about it.
I have no allergies. I expect people to clean up the messes that they make, of course. I can be picky with food but it's usually because I don't know what I want to eat.
style wise, I don't care too much. I know my wardrobes not ideal but I feel like it suits me.

no allergies that i know of, I can be slob, and I am most of the time, can't say all kind of foods but most of them, my choices change from time to time, and I don't care about how I dress that much.
-I would not want to repeat my childhood
-I do have Libra in the 2nd house & I did try bringing down the chaos at home
-I would not say I have an up-to-date style since I love suspenders xD
-My 3rd house is on Scorpio & I find this very true
-Pisces is in the 7th house but I'm not drawn to anyone at all
-OMFG YES I can't stand my dad. Mom is meh.
