Hey, everyone... I'm just learning about house overlays in synastry and I was wondering if anyone could help me out. My Taurus Venus falls into my partners 4th house (Aries) & his Aquarius Venus falls into my 6th house..
I've been reading up on how 4th house overlay means peace and harmony in the home.. happiness and loving feelings.. but I also read that 6th house overlays mean that he isn't as into me and that it's all about work.
We are starting a business together and spend much time together regarding work.. (and have since the beginning which was about a year ago)... could this be what the 6th house means? We have fun together with work.. creative and open minded.
I'm just hoping that his Venus in my 6th doesn't denote a lack of feeling toward me.
Can anyone help explain?
I also read that Venus in the 4th means that I resist because I'm scared and he could take it as a lack of interest or lack of confidence and it will drown the relationship.. any views on this as well would be helpful.
Sssupes, I really hope that isn't true. I have a feeling though that you may be right. We have obvious feelings and attractions to one another but he's afraid of comittment and I am terrified of getting hurt by him. Idk.. maybe the years of getting attraction expressed could be a good thing? Maybe things could slowly get better with time? I'm trying to see the positive side here. Ugh.

I had my scorpio venus in someone's 6th house. I wanted to know all about them and be their closest friend but it ended up being more of an everyday thing where we would keep in contact everyday, I would ask him about his day, his past, and it was very menial. I would help out and bring him some items that I thought would be useful to him. It didn't feel ROMANTIC per say... but it was enjoyable.
When I had my Venus in someone's 4th, I thought where they grew up was interesting. This person in particular had a massively wealthy family on the down low. I was interested in knowing about their home life.
I couldn't really feel someone's venus in my 4th because it touched my saturn. They would always offer to help. I liked it. He would always ask about my home life, what my family was like.
When someone put their venus in my 6th, they opened my mind up and made going to class and doing assignments interesting.
